Vivint is refusing to cancel my service, 2 days after installation. They lied and said I had 60 days to cancel but after reading reviews I decided to check the fine print and it was actually just 3 days. Realizing I was rushed into signing I cancelled on day 2 after going round and round with customer service. They have flat out ignored me on day 3. I am taking legal action. Do not use this service they haven't even gained their 1 star rating.

Vivint should be charged with elder abuse. Their aggressive door to door sales, often pretty late at night, has to stop. My social feeds are flooded with neighbors either terrified about the stranger who continually shows up on their security camera or mad as heck about the lousy system they were talked into, now can't get out of & are stuck still owing >$1,000.

Super shady folks. I’d really love it if there was an option to give zero stars. We’ve been customers of theirs for over 10 years. We made an equipment upgrade 5 years ago, at which point they locked us into a ridiculously long term monitoring contract without telling us. We didn’t find out until we called them this morning. We’re about to move, and had to pay an outrageously expensive “cancellation” fee just to move out of our house and leave the equipment. I recommend that everyone avoid them at all costs.

Vivint is trash of a company. They overcharge for their service and lock you into a long term commitment. Their products are not better than their peers and they don’t support their hardware if you don’t have a monthly subscription. Even though they lead you to believe they do. No integrity, no innovation, no good

We have had them for six months now. This is a scam. Was never was told about the two bills. Would rate this as a zero if I could. Would not recommend to anyone. I should have looked at the reviews before. We was told by the third party aka second bill we can send the equipment back and they will credit. Vivant is telling us no we can't. We have done been on the phone for three hours now fighting with them. Still no help from anyone. They lied several times to us. Everything is a red flag. DO NOT BUY!!!

Would never ever recommend this company or equipment! So many things have been a red flag. And I'm basically just stuck with this 4k loan that i am not happy with. Going from ADT to Vivint = one of the worst mistakes. We were told if we swapped to them that they would pay off our $600 balance with ADT. It has been over 3 months without any form of pay off reimbursement. The sales guys had an install guy outside my house waiting before i even signed. He ended up taking until 11pm on a weekday. I also have him on camera, smoking weed with my teenage children. He didn't complete the job thoroughly. Stay far away from this company! I can not get any one the phone to be of help. I want out of this contract.

Because why the hell is your “technician” at my house at 10 o’clock at night because you’re running a “special” - we haven’t had issues with our cameras but i am sick and tired of the sales reps and technicians knocking on my door at all hours of the day. Put it in an email.

Warning. Their sales representatives lie extensively. Do not do business with Vivint. You will regret it. The sales rep told us we could cancel within 60 days ... so when we tried to cancel 30 days later we were told that we only had 30 days. I'll be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
