So bad. I had an appointment last August with Dr. Nutt and had new glasses ordered. Still have not received them at all. If they call to say they are ready, I will tell them to keep them. I am going to Springfield, where I got my glasses to begin with. They got my glasses done in a timely manner. This is unreal. I realize this is Vision Source, and yet, Dr. Nutt and his team are with you now. So I am giving a rating for Dr. Nutt and hus team. Thank you.

I would be very leery about going to Vision Source with their hiring of Dr. Nutt and his wife. At his former eye care center we paid over $500 for contacts that never came. I understand there was a transition for them to Vision Source, but there was not one ounce of communication for months and we had to make multiple phone calls to get a refund. They acted like they refunded it twice to our credit card, but that did not occur. Their actions leave me convinced that if we had not pursued the situation they would have simply kept our money.

I absolutely recommend Vision Source, what a smooth trouble free experience. This was my first time there but won't be the last. They were through and did exactly what they said they would. I'm on SSI and have a very tight budget, unlike my last eye exam and glasses which was close to $200 over what my insurance covered Vision Source stayed within my budget with no hidden costs.Thanks Vision Source for a great experience.

Very pleased with my visit. The staff got me scheduled quickly and I was seen right away. My exam was very professional and seemed very thorough. The doctor explained everything and took enough time to make sure any questions I had were answered.

I've used these guys twice now. Twice I've used payroll deduct and I get a $200 bill 8 months later, which my insurance says I only owe $95 funny you all say my insurance didn't pay anything so you all want to charge me twice.. double dipping insurance fraud. I want my billing fixed. What do I pay insurance for? I'm over here scratching my head. What a joke. Please call me and fix this bill. I won't be back next year. What a scam of a place

Beware!! Their web site lists 'Featured Insurance Carriers' including Medicare and United Health Care. I have United Health Care insurance through Medicare. When I went for my appointment I was told they only cover medical conditions NOT routine exams and glasses.They do not list these exceptions on their web site. I find this to be extremely misleading. If you are wanting routine eye care and glasses and have Medicare and/or United Health Care, don’t bother with this place.

I just had my yearly eye exam and fitting for a new pair of glasses. This was my second visit as I saw Dr. Kirar last year. I was looking forward to this visit thinking back on how much I enjoyed the last. This visit did not disappoint, in fact I made a double appointment and they scheduled my Mom in so we could go together and both see Dr. Kirar. (My Mom loved him and her visit as well)

I refer everyone I know to Dr. Kirar at Vision Source because he is a Phenomenal Eye Doctor. He is not only patient, caring, concerned, thorough, has a great personality, supportive, reassuring, but he is really educated in his field. He is also easy on the eyes 🙂 I always appreciate when he answers all of my questions, I get nervous when it comes to my eyes and he educated me and eliminated my unnecessary worries.
I also like his staff a lot, shout out to Lilly and Kaley! Whoop Whoop! The NEW building location is beautiful and has the best selection of eye glasses I have EVER seen. I picked up a sweet pair of COACH glass frames, Score!

Unfortunately, I won't see them again until next year but I will be looking forward to it.

The very best in eye health care. It's been said that for every person who takes the time to write a positive comment, there are 30 others that feel the same way but will say nothing. I have all good things to say about Dr. Kirar at Vision Source in Bolivar. He makes you feel safe & at ease. He will always answer any questions.
