My furniture arrived all messed up. I had to get a Uhaul and move my stuff from upack trailer to uhaul truck due to their lack of communication. And of course they declined my claim for damages.

Highly recommend U-pack for moving. We used them for our move from Cincinnati to Los Angeles. They were the most affordable for our move ($2.8k) and they were very responsive. Our things came in just the way we packed them. Only complaint was that they delivered the cube quite late but they called to inform about this and everything went smooth.

We used U-Pack to move from Hollywood, CA to Rochester, NY, in Dec 2023. It was amazing, and relatively, easily the cheapest option.
We had a large one bedroom apt to get packed and moved; two desks, a bed, a coffee cart, a kitchen cart, a 8ft sofa, coffee table, a lot of books and bookshelf, clothes, a mountain bike etc. and it all fit in one Relo Cube! I took apart and flat packed a lot of it, to fit more, but still we were shocked by just how much we could fit in one cube.
The U-Pack website was a gold mine of useful information, even if you aren't moving with them, take a look! we are still using their moving check list as we come to the end of our move.
The interaction with customer service was excellent, they all seemed to be on the same page and i never felt like i didn't know what was going on. The information provided was very clear for what was required of me, and the drivers were friendly and helpful.
The cube itself was clean and in good condition, and everything arrived in Rochester relatively unscathed. Be sure to use packing blankets and straps to keep things from rubbing against each other and your things should be fine.
If you are unsure of the amount of cubes you need, you can request more, and they will only charge you for what you use, taking back any unused cubes at not cost.
Using U-pack, lessened the stress, and cost, of moving across the country considerably. I highly recommend and would happily use them again. Excellent.

My customer experience with U_Pack was great!
Their price was very reasonable when comparing them to other companies that offer similar services. They were up front with their quote...as in no hidden fees or anything else. The delivery and pick up of their containers was more prompt than I expected.
My valuables came in one piece for the most part. Any small thing that came messed up had more to do with how I packed my stuff than how it was delivered.
I was suspicious at first but took the risk. By the time everything was done I was extremely satisfied with the whole service, from the customer reps to the pickup/delivery drivers. I would definitely use them again.

I would give U-Pack no stars if I could. 30 minutes before our cube delivery, U-Pack called and said they couldn't deliver to our street. They didn't try (their excuse was terrible; trucks come down our street ALL the time), they just looked at Google Maps and decided they couldn't. But we ordered the cube a month out... they looked the day of? Why not tell us WHILE WE'RE ORDERING! To cancel 30 minutes before delivery, 3 days before a cross country move, forcing us to use a competitor (PODS! GREAT COMPANY WITH PROFESSIONALISM AND CARE-- USE THEM!) and both lose a day of work (lost wages). Apologies? None. Assistance or offering to cover any added expenses? None. Use anyone else. In fact, I'd sooner sell EVERYTHING and walk across the country then use this unprofessional, cheap, disrespectful company.

I'm not sure if the people that work at this service center are technically U-Pack employees or ABF employees, but either way they were so incredibly kind and helpful during my experience needing to access my U-Pack trailer. With a very last minute change of plans, I found out that U-Pack wouldn't be able to deliver my trailer to my apartment so I had to come to the service center to get my things. Lloyd made an exception and allowed me to come and go over the course of a few days because I had to hire movers and they extended the date in which I would have access to the trailer. The guy who works in the yard, I wish I knew his name, was incredibly helpful during the process as well and even helped move a few heavy furniture items. Really appreciate the guys working here and how seamless they made the whole thing during a stressful time.
