We are so lucky to have this company in town. The knowledgeable and patient staff are lifesavers for those of us who rely on computers and phones but don’t have a clue what to do when anything goes wrong. Thanks for the help, Andrew!
And thanks to your boss who helped us before and came up with ways to fix our computer instead of telling us we needed to buy a new one. The fixed computer has been working great for over two years!

I do not usually ever post reviews for places, but I would say that their service was exceptional. I had an issue with my charger where I was about to pay about $120 for a new one because I needed it that night, but they found the problem was with an easily replaceable part for ~$15. They could never have said anything and I would have paid that $120, but instead they helped me to the best of their ability. They were a kind and inviting crew. I highly recommend going to them for any of your computer needs 🙂

Great business. We were traveling through Alaska when my husband's computer crashed. Andrew was extremely helpful and professional while diagnosing and fixing the issue. Communication was fantastic and the work was done efficiently with a very fair price. Would highly recommend whether you're just traveling through or live in Fairbanks.

Thank you up north computers !! I had a desktop stop working on me and they were able to get it in, figured out and fixed quickly! The customer service is excellent. They sat down with me and went over what was wrong with my computer and helped me get it set up again when I picked it up! Fairbanks is lucky to have great computer guys like you!!!

Everyone here was extremely nice. I entered the store and let them know my problem. They hooked me up right away and got me rolling within minutes. I left more knowledgeable than when I entered for sure. 100% would recommend this place to anybody having computer needs.

Absolutely outstanding service! I am a full-time RVer as well as a speaker, blogger, and author. We were traveling through Alaska during the summer of 2024 when my computer crashed. All of my book manuscripts, podcast audio and video files, as well as many other important documents were on the computer. I use Carbonite for backing up my files, but the memory on my wife's computer wasn't big enough for me to transfer all of my files to her computer. Knowing I had a very strict timeline, I contacted Up North Computers while we in Homer Alaska. I explained the situation to them and we determined that our best route was to ship the laptop to them so that they could have it diagnosed and back up and running by the time we arrived in Fairbanks.

Andrew was my tech and he communicated great with me throughout the entire process both via phone calls and emails.

By the time we arrived in Fairbanks, the computer was ready to go. We had a sit-down meeting to make sure that everything I needed was restored to my satisfaction. They even rearranged their schedule to fit me in earlier than we had originally discussed.

My satisfaction was their number one priority.

I would highly recommend Up North Computers for any computer repairs or needs. 5-plus stars indeed!
