We’re drawn in because of the 1 1/2 lobster deal posted at their entrance. I was skeptical at first because of how cheap was the lobster. To my surprise, it was the best meal I had on our Cape May trip. The Lobster & Clams Fried Strips were winner to me! This whole feast only costs us $62 + tip. Check them out when you visit Cape May.

We had a wonderful lunch for our trip to Cape May.
The food is fresh, especially since it is not frozen seafood.
I love lobster 🦞 roll best.
All my family are satisfied with their food.
The service is great as well.
By the way, the portion is bigger than I expected.
The French fries are thick and crispy which is what I liked.

While exploring Washington Street Mall with my friends, we stopped at Ugly Mug for dinner. We were happy that they were able to seat us right away and their menu had a nice variety. The food was all average - we had the crab cakes, fried flounder, clam chowder, and Bavarian pretzel for an appetizer. We’re never picky about cheese sauce, but this one had an acidic flavor we really didn’t like. I see myself trying other places before I would come back here, though the service was attentive and quick, and the outdoor area was perfect for what we were looking for.

Great pub on the Washington mall cape May casual relaxed we have been a few times burgers were great. I also love the hot roast beef fries were plentiful. The decor is fun lots of mugs on the wall ergo the name. Fun place I don’t drink but my wife had a local beer and loved it. Great place give it a try not fancy if that’s what you want there’s plenty of them we love the fun relaxed atmosphere you will too.

Very cute, old charm. We choose to sit at on outside table to enjoy the weather and people watch. It was very nice atmosphere. The server Tina, she was very friendly and a great waitress. I ordered the Buffalo shrimp the serving was huge and they were delicious. My husband ordered the pork Philly it was huge and delicious as well. They had a clear string that worked to keep the seagulls away from grabbing the food. I had one grab food at a different restaurant on the same block.

Just a great place to have a drink and enjoy some yummy pub food. On nicer days, hanging outside under the covered sidewalk is a great place to have a beer and people watch. Service was a little slow but it was a busy Saturday so understandable. Either way def worth a visit for the food and atmosphere.

The worst and smallest plate of fish and chips I've had in my life. Artic cod? No it's just warmed up fish sticks. It wasn't chunky fillets of Artic Cod. Came with lukewarm fries that wouldn't even feed a 5-year-old. Manager and chef should leave Cape May. This is a seafood town, learn how to source it, cook it, plate it and serve it. Only the beer is good.

Service was quick, sat inside, but very loud due to baseball game going on. Unfortunately the sat us in bar near bathroom, so people constantly walked by and stared at our food. Very expensive for what we had.
