They wanted to charge me over $1,100 for a used steering column for one small part . I found that part for $270. And said they couldn't garentee that the steering column would even come with the part I needed. Tried to rip me off. Only to find out I'm smarter than they thought. I was told they couldn't find the ignition part anywhere. I found it in ten minutes.

I have used this shop over the years without any issues. Took my Tacoma for a Copland and oil leak. They found what the issue was and said it was still under warranty to take it to the dealer for them to repair it. I was not charged at all, very honest people.

Easily the best shop in Merced for my Prius. I’ve dropped in twice and both times they were able to service my car the same day. I see some negative reviews on the pricing, well of course good service comes at a cost and they are still significantly cheaper than the dealer. I trust these guys with anything and will definitely be a returning customer!

Made an appointment for brake inspection on Friday and they started working immediately. The manager showed me all my options and we actually ended up doing an oil change since it included a full vehicle inspection which was more cost efficient in the long run. I ended up having coolant leaking from my radiator that needed to be replaced. He took even photos of the leak and sent them to me to show me what was going on. When speaking with him, I never felt that he was just trying to pull a fast one on me. If I would have waited to fix the radiator, I could have severely screwed up my engine. Unfortunately they didn't have the part there with them that day and they said it would have to be the following Monday that they could work on it and they wouldn't suggest driving it in the mean time. I expressed to them that I could not do Monday because of an important work survey that I needed done Monday morning. The owner/manager went OUT OF THEIR WAY to get the part delivered fast AND even come in on the weekend for a few hours to get it done so that I would not have to reschedule my work. I am extremely grateful to them and will from now on, recommend this place to everyone! I do not know much about car repair myself, but I never felt like they were trying to replace things that didn't actually need to be replaced. Any questions that I had, he walked me through it and gave me all of the breakdowns. On top of their skill, they are nice people at the shop! I'd highly recommend.

A lot of people recommended this place when my prius was having issues. They did a fast and great job on my car but I would only return there out of necessity.
It is a very akward place. They don't greet you when you enter the office. I do think the diagnosis is just them getting free money because I told them what was wrong with my car. I gave them $50 (originally $100) and had to wait 1 hour and 20 mins in the small waiting room for nothing. The second time I went, I just dropped the car off and picked it up. The part arrived fast and they changed it in less than the quoted time.

Very happy with the service and professionalism at Toyotech. I got my transmission fluid and differential oil changed as well as a new battery and did not get price gouged. Tom and his crew took care of my needs and I will return.

These guys are awesome. Had made an appointment at the nearby Toyota Dealer but when I arrived I was told that it would take a few hours before anyone would even touch the car, I had made he appointment two weeks in advance for this very reason! I didn't have time to wait, so found these guys and gave them a call, they were happy for the business and did an awesome job, charged less, and the mechanic didn't mind me hanging out in the shop and getting to know the workings of the car better, oh and they were about 20% less expensive!

Tl;dr: awesome shop I would definitely say go there
