Our waitress was so kind and friendly! The food is phenomenal and affordable considering they serve fresh seafood! I had the special pan seared flounder, and it was delicious. I can't remember the proper name for my husbands dinner. It was lobster, scallops, shrimp, mussels, and clams. We have been a few other times and have no complaints. It's one of our favorite places for dinner!

We all had a very good experience here! The food was delicious, service was great, and atmosphere was cozy. I highly recommend the claw chowder and fresh oysters. And the complimentary bread was delicious and seasoned well.

The only little complaint was that we thought it was a little dim and could use a little more lighting. Also, prices are a little on the higher end but the food is good quality and they give you a lot. But, overall, great place and we'd come back!

Went on a Friday for Lunch it was busy but didn't have to wait for a table sat right away. Table was by the window with a fabulous view of the water. They didn't have drink specials or a drink menu which was a bit of a bummer but the chocolate Martini was delicious along with the homemade onion bread and the fried shrimp friendly wait staff and the food arrived quickly the Christmas decorations were beautiful along with all the pictures and history great place to eat you won't be disappointed plenty of parking

It is a very nice place to have a private dinner date during the off-season on a week day. No waiting. Not very many people. Great seat by the window to see the sunset, friendly staff and great food. Very cozy atmosphere and the sautéed scallops were amazing!

Longing for a steamed whole lobster, while in Cape May we stopped in for dinner at this longtime local favorite. We had a nice table overlooking the colorful marina at sunset, service was excellent from the get go and we started with some fried calamare which was lightly floured, fresh and perfectly prepared, we then took in their seafood chowder and lobster bisque, both stood up with some of the best in South Jersey. For our main meals I had a 2.5 Lb steamed lobster which was juicy, tender and sweet and couldn’t have been better, we also had fresh mussels cooked in a red tomato and wine sauce, the mussels were large, meaty and sweet tasting and the sauce was excuisite, best mussel dish of the year. Fantastic all around meal, I am sure we will be back.

Although it wasn't too expensive, it wasn't cheap either. Good food, not excellent, could use a little more flavor on shrimps and scallops. Lobster was a fairly good size. I liked the clam chowder. A good portion of clams. I usually finish coleslaw but this time I didn't. It really didn't have much flavor. Service could be a little better. Maybe it was too busy but not too much energy or friendly. Just doing the job. This place also had a bakery. We really enjoyed their carrot cake! Loved the atmosphere and loved the idea that you just order the food and eat wherever in the back toward the water. With breeze and great sunny weather, we really enjoyed the scenery.

It’s a wonderful dinner we had at The Lobster House. We had broiled lobster, grilled swordfish, calamari, and the raw oysters. The food did not disappoint. Karen, our server, was very welcoming and attentive. Overall, the experience was wonderful.

The food was amazing!!! Everything was delicious and the price was surprisingly reasonable. We literally had to order two of the cold sampler because it was too good. The place is iconic but the bar area had this weird smell. We were stuffed and definitely will come back! Parking was very easy too.
