Absolute worst customer service and service in general. They send notices with a "disconnect amount" indicated on the letter. But if you pay anything less than the "total amount due" instead of the "disconnect amount," they'll disconnect you anyway and refuse to reconnect until you pay the full balance.
No notice anywhere when you pay indicating that the amount you entered is insufficient for reconnection. Then they charge you 25 bucks just to turn your service back on.

We have no choice for an ISP in my area because TDS (Top Dollar S***) has a monopoly on internet.

They overcharge for their advertised speeds but then say in the fine print that you'll never actually get the speeds advertised. We pay over 70 bucks a month for a pitiful "16 mbps" and actual speed as never crested 14.

On two different occasions, they have reduced prices for their packages so that a faster option is less than what I currently pay. They don't tell you this. They just let you go on overpaying for outdated speeds because they're effing crooks. It was only when I went to their website and saw a faster option advertised for LESS than what I was paying that called them up to complain. They then upgraded my package.

Actual amount you pay is never what they advertise. If the advertised price is $59/mo, expect to pay $80/mo.

This awful company has only survived by providing internet to rural areas where they have no competition.

This is the worst company to deal with. I spent an hour on the phone and accomplished zero. I sincerely hope the government is not supporting this company with any grants.

Tds is by far the worst phone/internet provider in the world (my opinion). The service constantly goes in and out. Everytime you call them they troubleshoot and says there is a problem but never fix the problem. They'll send out a technician that comes in and tell me that the service is slow because I have 2 gaming devices. I've been having this same issue for years. Not to mention the bill is extremely high to have such horrible service. I hate this company and wish there were more choices in this area. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Very slow service. Several calls leads to a few tests being run, speed being checked, and ultimately no fix. Last conversation consisted of me being told it was both my lap tops that needed cleaning, as well as, my cell phone. However, took those same devices to another net work and everything was fine! At home there are days when surfing only one or two pictures may load and the page contnues to try and load until a crash window pops up.
Too much money per month for very poor speed.
