We went to the Taylor rodeo for the first time this year. We decided to take my mother in law who is recently in a wheelchair. This has been a hard year and this would be one of the first places we tried to take her. We arrived three hours early. We found her a great spot in their ADA seating. We set her up but realized rather quickly that she would not be able to see there. They sold far too many tickets than they had seats. Everyone was standing in the walk ways right in front of the ADA seating. It was very unfortunate. We asked multiple people what we could do, but no one seemed to care. They just allowed everyone to stand in front. It was definitely not ADA compliant and if she would have had a medical event during the rodeo we would have been in trouble. It was also a major fire code violation as there was no walkway to be able to get out. I was very disappointed to see that the event was way more about money than it was about people enjoying the 4th of July. In the future, the amount of tickets should only be sold based on seating. We’ll see what the ADA has to say about this.

The rodeos held here are always entertaining! We have learned though to get there about an hour early for the Snowflake Pioneer Day weekend rodeos and two hours early for the 4th of July Taylor Rodeo if you want to sit with your entire family or group of friends.

The cowboy code, honesty and integrity. We went to the Taylor rodeo this evening an event to celebrate the cowboy way. We stood in line and purchased tickets. Walked to the arena to find that there were no seats. Walked up and down the entire seating area, nothing. We decided to leave and asked for a refund since the rodeo had not started yet and were told they couldn't do that. No refunds. So they sold more tickets than they had places for people to sit...what way to honor that cowboy code of honesty and integrity.

The rodeo tonight, July 6th, 2024, had an awesome vibe. The food options were enormous. This Florida boy was impressed. However, next year, I'm not going to wear sandals. That was a mistake ?

First I want to start of by saying I am not a rodeo fan however I have attended the rodeo for the 4th of July and the 24th of July and they are really well done. They draw huge crowds. The stands are huge, you don’t want to trip going down or you might as well have signed up for the bull ride! The grounds are always clean too.

Went to two Rodeos here.
Very clean! Exceedingly well maintained.
Decent parking...if the attendees are good at parking.

Annual July Rodeo was an absolute nightmare. Over sold tickets for starters! “Cash Only” these Mormons are taking money hand over fist! Second; EVERYONE had blankets down, “seats saved”. Then the announcer kept saying there are plenty of seats, yet there were not. Most of those empty seats were “saved”. Then the announcer kept telling people they couldn’t sit or stand around the rails and to go find a seat. It was packed bumper to bumper, no room for anyone. They STILL were taking peoples cash at the front AS PEOPLE WERE LEAVING, complaining about no seats and demanding a refund. They had a bunch of children running this event and the Church took the entire Town’s money AND SOME. No wonder this Rodeo is unsanctioned, it’ll never be. Will not be robbed again, my family will stay far far away from these wolves in sheep’s clothing.

This was a nice place to visit. There was a farmer type market going on and the people there were nice. The food though was a little less to be desired. We got tacos and cheese fries. The cheese fries were not cooked and were slightly raw. The tacos were ok, but the carne asada was really chewy.
