It absolutely beautiful, it has a private room I like to use so I don't disturb people with my tasks. It has a nice space outside for nice weather to. Very comfortable place with helpful and friendly staff. It's the best library I've ever been to.

The library is small and homey, yet has a fresh, airy, modern feel. This library often has events going on that bring together the small-town community. They bring art, science, and other educational opportunities to the local children, some of whom may not be exposed to much culture outside the tiny town of Sutton. The librarians are the nicest ever. I’ve observed that they’re friendly and welcoming to all, even to children with behavior issues, children who definitely benefit from both the positive interaction and the exposure to books. Even though this library is out of the way for us and bigger libraries are closer, we visit Sutton Library the majority of the time when we go to the library.

The Sutton Library is a wonderful place, filled with helpful and friendly staff. The building was designed in the image of the old coal wash plant, remembering the coal mining history of Sutton, and located beside the Alpine Historical Park. It is a beautiful building with a large interior that also houses a community room. Wonderful and creative events are held for children and teens; computers are available for public use; and there is something for everyone at our local library.

Love this library ~ appealing to the eye, staff are friendly and helpful, a real cornerstone for the Sutton-Alpine area. What a great resource for interlibrary loans and the occasional printing of documents at a $0.25 a page.

I visited you library with my daughters and grandsons. I was amazed on the educational and fun for the kids, but the parents get to talk to other parents and share ideas also. There is a themed activity to do that goes along with the books that are read. I wished I would have had this when I was raising my girls, just to have other adults to talk to would have been great.
The lady that reads the stories Miss Bertels does an amazing job of keeping every ones interest both young and old.
