The location is the best thing about this resort. Lots of nearby overpriced shops and friendly faces. Rooms are adequate but not really worth the price especially off-season. Service was ok on my visit but not spectacular as they did not allow extra time even if paid for at check out so members of my family had to wait in the car until I was finished with my conference speaking engagement.

What an amazing time I had although a short 1.5 days for a work retreat. This is definitely better than 3 stars folks! Was there early October a few days in and incredible weather. Service was amazing always available for ride. Lodging was a dream with a few nearby onsite and walking distance restaurants and shops. The spa was incredible with similar layout as the Grand America sister hotel in Utah. Lodging rooms definitely fit family of 4! And very spacious! There is an ice skating rink and bowling alley onsite as well as an immaculate pool.

Sun Valley Resort is an incredible place for a relaxing vacation. There is so much to do, from hikes and walks to bike rides. My favorite activity was sitting in the Adirondack chairs by the pond and taking in all the amazing views. Racing the rubber ducks down the creek was also fun. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, adding to the overall experience. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, Sun Valley Resort has it all. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location, nice rooms, good service…BUT there are no microwaves in the room, no fridges (that work), and no ice machines available to guests. In this day of modern conveniences and comfort, these are some basics of living. We stayed 3 days and three nights and it was very irritating to call room service every time we wanted ice. We couldn’t keep our leftovers or soda cold and I couldn’t heat water to make oatmeal in the morning.

Had a nice time at the resort. The robes were an awesome and fun accessory for a quick trip to the hot tub which was very relaxing. See video. The food and shops are always fun to walk around and enjoy.
The only issue we had during the trip was our rooms getting a bit messed up, the connecting suite / room we had booked ended up being given to someone else and the front desk wasn’t easy to work with in figuring out what happened and seemed quite irritated. After a few trips up to the main lobby and a handful of calls, someone finally came out to help us move into another unit that was different from our original booking but alls well that ends well and we still had a great time once we were settled in.

Positive: Clean and well kept property; linens and bedding extremely comfortable; easy access to outdoor pool and paddle courts; nearby restaurants in walking distance and excellent food and service Negative: Should not have charged for use of pickleball courts

Positive: "" Negative: Location was far from town. Decor was dated, and the $500 deposit they held on my account was ridiculous for a ONE NIGHT STAY.
