) this school is not so buns bro the kids n teachers here don't suck. first the kids have a Diddy party(with insane privilege since their parents work at this school or theyre js friends w the popular kids), insanely weird, or having a Diddy party like 400 iq. meanwhile the teachers dont actually teach anything, they just give you trillions of assignments n get pissed when you dont do them in 40 minutes. also for some reason everyone is the fun police, cant even play w my friends cuz this loner is “whispering” to her only friend about how annoying we are.. we’re kids bro nb wanna rot in here from being bored
whats best is how freaky the students get, u can play on the chromebooks rean you can tongue wrestle with someone else (mind you the oldest students here should be 18)
drills are horrible here too, theres been many cases where ive nearly had a panic attack from lockdown drills as theyre never announced and they literally go up to classes to jiggle the doorknob 💀
the education here is trash too. youll either learn something that has absolutely nothing with any job to ever exist or einstein level problems which again, have nothing to do with you future. also youre probably gonna learn nothing anyway since they just show you the problem and expect you to know it based off a 2 minute explanation of it or just give you a worksheet.
its decently clean i guess, excluding bathrooms and lost and found boxes since a bathroom stall has a weird liquid on it that somehow hasnt dried in a week and the upstairs lost and found box had maybe 6 fruit flies that came out when i opened it + a foul stench.
honestly the main problem are the people, cuz people really just ruin everything. why are there so many people calling each other slurs? do some of these people actually shower? why does everybody walk a centimeter per hour? worst thing might be the hallway to spanish/ms bibbs class/ms kristines office because theres 20 6th graders who just stand there (i dont think some of them shower either), and also for some reason everything is ai generated. what (edit 2: i just remembered my friend once told me (in 6th grade) he’d leave for the 7th grade year and come back for 8th grade. when school ended they removed 8th grade. also everyone hated him for some reason so thats prob why..)

As a former student of 3 years, my life with SST Spring wasn't all too bad. SST has made my life better but also made it more of a struggle. They promote emotions everyone should have, like interests, but no one had that, not even teachers! I am now in the 8th, forced to move there due to the school.

What are the great things? The school has great things with education with certain teachers! These teachers help you out specially and help out with struggles. Say my 6th math teacher, Mrs._____, she was someone who helped me understand so much in math that helps me now. She told me all about the basics and everything. Also, my 6th and 7th social studies teacher.who left after a year, she went into history so much and sometimes looked like she enjoyed her job. Hope for both their well-being!

What about the bad side? There are many things on the bad side, like laziness, hate, favoring, and not exactly helping out. There were many teachers I never liked because of this, although some I liked because they were chill. I am a kid who understands fast. I'm in honors classes or advanced of now what you. I have seen my classmates struggle, and instead of them going to the teacher, sometimes they come to me. This is due to the teachers not really helping out. It sometimes makes me sad that they weren't helping. Last year, I hadn't really learned anything, and because I'm in honors this year,[all years from when it started], it is tougher because I'm starting off something new. Yet I hope the school has changed or will.

Last thing, the students. The students create ruckess to the learning environment with vandilisation, fights, and serious bullying. Want to be honest and say that I teased my friends and best friends for many reasons as they did the same. Although I have seen people in other classes as such, I did not like other people teasing them, and it wouldn't stop. Also, the vandalism, IT SUCKS. There Sooo much stuff getting destroyed or changed. Bathrooms getting torn, painted, and more. The toilet seats have paint on them, and the walls have holes or inappropriate drawings. You can not go in peace as people are always banging the doors or throwing pee or water paper balls over the stall walls. The staff do nothing about it!

I just want to say that the school is alright. I had an OK time during all of this, I just want this school to be alright.

In my short life, I have seen many examples of respectable schools. SST Spring, sadly, isn't one of them. I have been at this school for three years, and it has been a downhill ride since the beginning. When I first enrolled in the school, I had a love for learning that was nothing like any other kid. This school, however, took that joy and hit it with a big yellow school bus.

There are many things wrong for the school. For example, every single day I have a fear for my health and wellbeing, and it's barely even about the students. I have found alive bugs scurrying throughout the hallway. Heck, two times in just the past year alone have there been birds flying throughout the school. There is half eaten food, dirty paper, and even people's clothes littered throughout the hallways, classrooms, even outside. I haven't even mentioned the structural integrity of the school. What I mean by structural integrity is the floors, walls, and ceiling being dirty, damaged, heck even gone. Most of the walls have chunks taken out of them and part of the ceiling of the middle school boys' bathroom is just missing. I won't describe the rest of the bathroom, but you get the idea. I have seen many people stealing mirrors, soap dispensers, even a stall door from the bathroom, and none of the teachers do anything about it. I don't know how the stall door was stolen, but it was.

My second complaint about this school is the teachers themselves. While yes, this school has had many great teachers who actually like teaching and create a friendly environment in their class, this school only has four in my grade (right now). I won't specify the names, but it's my ELA teacher, Social Studies teacher, my Spanish teacher, and my art teacher. My math teacher, at least for a good part of the year, just gave us packets, wrote a formula on the board, and sat down, just watching us struggle. Yes, if you had a question, she would answer it, but not before belittling you. I understand that it was in a joking way, but I wished she did it in a more obvious way. Then there's my science teacher. I don't think he should even be a science teacher. He is originally Turkish and barely knows English. He has to pronounce complicated words that we don't know so we end up getting more confused, but then again, I don't feel bad because he doesn't even teach us anything. The only time he actually taught us was when the superintendent came for a class check. That was when I lost all of my respect for him. The rest of the school year he's just made us do Flocabulary, which if you don't know is an app that has all these videos about different subjects, which sounds interesting and would be good for a class, but when that's the only thing he does to teach us, it's just lazy. I didn't even know if he had the ability to teach us, so I asked him. "Sir, what degree do you have?" You know what he said, "Of course." Another time, we were taking a test when I asked him a question. I said it in a weird way, but instead of talking me through it, he screamed, "Get out of my classroom!" locked the door on me and gave me a referral. There was also one time when I stood up without permission, I don't remember for what (Probably to sharpen my pencil) when he called me up and said he was calling my parents. I don't know what he was going to tell them, but he was calling them, so he picked up his phone, didn't dial a number or anything, and just sat there, waiting for a response. There's also my PLTW teacher, which is basically just coding with extra steps, who didn't grade anything for two months which resulted in me almost failing her class, to my Character Ed teacher, which teaches you how to be a better person, hating everyone in my entire class, but this paragraph is getting too long.

There are many more problems like the school's horrible planning, crowd control, or the food being inedible, but you get the idea. The only positive reviews were from faculty who work there (I'm not joking.) If it were up to me, this is a choice school I would choose not to go to.

Old kid who used to go here (Now a sophomore now. Not the most existed about that-) And while I was only around for 2020 - 2022 (Early-ish 2023) and while my experience isn't as chaotic as some of the kids who wrote the things they have experienced I did go through some tough parts of this school but they weren't as bad.

I was a hell of a kid to deal with starting in this school, I don't remember most of that year besides the learning parts of it but I still am surprised the staff put up with me. I skipped classes, I dallied around the halls, And I wasn't really behaved as my mom wished I would of been, But the school did give me a lot of fun memory's to remember. Thanks to the school I made a lot of friends. Some staff, Some students, Made a friend group that I still communicate to here and there from time to time, And over all had a blast. The teachers did there best with me trying to teach me and I give all of my respect to them for trying to deal with me (I'm doing better now I promise :D), Got to give my class a free day by beating a teacher in chess and had a blast with that, Just so many good memories. Honestly I don't know what else to write besides talking about past stuff so I'll just get to the chase

This school is part of my life, And while it may not be the best as it was when I was in it, It still is a good school with a lot of amazing people to meet, Just got to talk to the right people. To yall in the school right now or about to go I just got to say talk to who you can and make the most of it, Just have fun and idk, Don't burn something

As a staff and as parent of a student who has attended this school for the past few years , I can confidently say that this is an exceptional educational institution that provides an excellent learning environment for its students.
Firstly, the teachers at SST Spring are highly qualified and dedicated to their work. They are passionate about their subject matter and are committed to providing the best possible education to their students. They work hard to ensure that each student receives individualized attention and support to help them succeed academically and personally.

Moreover, the school has an excellent range of extracurricular activities that allow students to explore their interests and develop their talents. From sports teams to academic clubs, there is something for every student to get involved in. This provides a great opportunity for students to make new friends and develop their social skills.

In addition, the school has a strong sense of community that fosters a supportive and inclusive environment. The school administration and staff prioritize the well-being and safety of students, and there are ample resources available for students to access if they need additional support.

Overall, I would highly recommend SST Spring to any parent seeking a quality education for their child. It is a fantastic school that provides an enriching and fulfilling experience for students.

We were excited to consider this school for 2024-2025, unfortunately there had been a miscommunication from SSTs end that lead to unfairness (disappointment) and though the issue was resolved after all, the way the whole situation was handled by their registrar was not done by one whom has held proper education, which leads me to believe it may not be wise to consider this school for my child’s education.

I ended up dropping my child’s seat and have chosen to remain at the current charter school. My decision is of course personal, but the manner in which they have interacted with a first time enrollment is definitely not personal. SST should really reconsider their communication process, they did admit rolling out a new communication system, however, it would’ve been practical to have tested before releasing but also practice fairness to those who did not receive proper communication. SST reaches out to parents after their child’s application has been declined (registrar cannot revert) it is simply unethical on SSTs part. Why not reach out within the 5 days specially considering that you have a new system? (my child was granted a seat by the way)

I could go into a lot of detail, however, there’s no need as the school already has established students and one less will not affect their processes and procedures. I do hope the best to them, and if things do happen for a reason then be it, as long as my child receives advanced education with my child’s current school then there of course should be absolutely no concern from SST.

I would like to add, there is no way to contact any of their board members.

Good Luck to everyone’s children going to this school. Above all, what matters the most is for the new generation to receive continuous advanced education to help generate better future leaders.

With that said, I wouldn’t recommend SST for your child’s education.

There are too many students attending for this money generation factory to be successful. Also, investigate where that money goes!

All the complaints seem to be personal issues when you dont follow the rules. We love this school they handled the bullying situation very well. My daughter is special needs and receives the help she needs. Teachers are helpful and nice. We have had a few small issues but nothing out of the ordinary and would have been worse at another school district.
