This unethical company should be avoided at all costs. We were a customer for several years paying with a virtual credit card that we set a transaction limit to just above the monthly charge. They increased the amount without us seeing any notification and the card declined, which they proceeded to lock our account for nonpayment immediately and not try the card again for the correct amount or contact us in any other way. At some point, they started charging the correct amount again and the card processed. They captured several months of payments for service that was not rendered because they had previously locked our account and not applied the payments they were receiving to the fees owed when the account was active. Upon stumbling across all of this when wondering why our orders had stopped coming in from our one key account which used EDI, I reached out to their customer service to explain what had happened and expected them to quickly apologize and correct their computer glitch. Not so. They accused us of not paying and would not consider the fact they had not provided us account access while continuing to charge us. We told them we wanted to cancel our account if they would not consider the facts. They have continued to attempt charging our card for new months of service after we cancelled and won't stop trying to charge us and have even gone to sending our account to collections for these additional months after our cancellation, even though we have paid for many more months of service than we have received. The whole thing would be hilarious if it wasn't illegal and detrimental to our company credit score and my mental health. I would recommend that anyone needing EDI services do ANYTHING they can to avoid working with SPS Commerce.

Stay away from this company. Their contracts are based on the calendar which is not practical. Our EDI supplier needed at least 120 days to change over to SPS from our current software converter to QuickBooks. SPS gives 60 days at no charge and then the fees begin even if you have not even started importing and testing the data. So if it takes 6 months for the change over, you get charged full usage for 4 months. This does not make any sense. The fees should be on usage and not based on the calendar. Now I am in collections for 2 months of data that I never used. The sales people are very well trained but are not sympathetic to what it takes to change over from one EDI converter to another. So if you run into a delay, they do not care and will not issue any credits. The major problem that I had was that the contract was signed in October and right before the Christmas season. The salesperson did not take this into consideration and did not care once the contact was signed. Again, stay away.

This Company has no Customer Service at all, we requested two services to be removed from our account that we were paying for but not using, 7 months later there was no change in our bills and our account was locked due to past due invoices for services we requested be removed 7 months prior. Account Reps blame billing and billing says they don't have the ability to make any changes. Only sign up if you want to be tied to the services for life. i have emailed every two weeks and called every month for 7 months and still no change.

If I could specify negative stars it would be well earned by SPS Commerce. Unfortunately many of my customers use them and there's not much I can do about it. Their testing platform is inadequate and inaccurate. There is always a problem when you move from testing to production. Some of their testing scenarios do not even apply to my customers. So after you send them an email, they respond days later with a correction. I would never use SPS Commerce. Recently one of my customers used Commerce Hub. With Commerce Hub your assigned an actual live person to work with. SPS Commerce also billed me for testing extensions that were not my fault. Yes I have the email threads to prove it. Eventually they suspended our account and we had no option but to pay their ransom. I've been doing EDI integration for many years and my advice is to stay away from them.

100% Disappointed. My entire company is frustrated. Their sales pitch is a total LIE. They have NO IDEA about vendor requirement and integration. You will be swimming in chargebacks forever since they blame you for everything and completely do not follow any Compliance or Mapping documents from the Vendor. But worse is -after NOT setting up the mapping correctly, they ask you for "Professional Services" where they charge you a ridiculous amount to fix the mapping. Shocking! This company is definitely going down.

If you need any customer service help, you are screwed. There is literally no one to talk to. They set you up with an account rep that is MIA, has a phone number but i dont think there was a SINGLE time i ever called and they picked up. And emails take 3 days to get answered IF THEY EVEN get answered so sad. When you sign up though they are SUPER quick to get you on that billing plan. If you are ready for a sink or swim relationship with a system that can literally determine whether your company lives or dies then this might just be the software for you...

I wish i could put a zero star. Everyone from this company is the worst person I’ve ever dealt with. No body is professional. They legitimately don’t do the work. I’ve been following up on our set up every day for 3 weeks - not even an acknowledgement of email. I’m furious and i wish i could set up EDI with another company.

One of the worst companies I have ever worked with. Their customer service is horrible and they over-charged my account for two years, never offered me one cent in refunds when I asked then sent my account to collections after they claimed I still owed them money which I did not. They are still threatening me today and I have not needed or used any of their services since the start of COVID. Stay far away from this horrible company.
