Scripture Notes has proven to be an invaluable resource in my personal scripture study, talk preparation, and doctrinal research. Its powerful search capabilities have significantly enhanced my ability to identify patterns, trace doctrinal themes, and uncover meaningful connections throughout the scriptures.
One of the program's most commendable features is its seamless integration with key study aids, including the Webster’s 1828 Dictionary, Strong’s Concordance, and a variety of LDS-specific resources. These tools provide rich historical and doctrinal context, enabling a more in-depth and informed study experience.
Additionally, the platform offers comprehensive online tutorials that facilitate a smooth onboarding process. These tutorials are well-designed and ensure that users can quickly become proficient in utilizing the program's many features, regardless of prior technical experience.
Having used three other scripture study programs in the past, I can confidently say that Scripture Notes has surpassed them all in functionality, depth, and user experience. This is the best!!! You can search better than the gospel library app, search by subject and specific words, use the AI tool to help you get answers to questions as you study, including references. Pull up multiple scriptures in multiple tabs to build the rabbit hole your trying to learn from. Scripture Notes is the best study app out there. You also have access to apocryphal writings and more resources. In a rush, or feel overwhelmed with trying to prepare a lesson, talk, trying to remember a scripture you use to know. It will help you find what you're looking for.

Why did I wait so long to get this? I have gone back and forth for a few years before finally trying it. I am typically overwhelmed by technology, that was my biggest hesitation. I didn't want to waste money on something I wouldn't use if it was difficult to navigate. I am happy to report that it is EASY to use even for a technically challenged person like myself, and the customer service is amazing! My favorite feature are the Collection Notes. I have used many different journals over the years to record insights during my scripture study. I have kept journals by topic, but it's hard to know where to find what I am looking for when I want to find it. The unlimited collection notes allow me to tag with keywords and link to scriptures. It is also much quicker for me to record my insights by voicing in (or typing) instead of writing. I also love that I will be able to print all of my notes at anytime I want into a PDF or even a hardcover book for my posterity or if I ever decide to stop using and paying for the app. I signed up for the year package and it's less than a dollar a week!

I like to to do deep dives into specific subjects in the scriptures bot cannon and others. As an example word chases are fundamental and critical to understanding the connections, patterns and themes in the Gospel. Scripture notes has reduced the complexity and time previously expended on these types of efforts. Oaks also includes generally accepted ancient artifacts not traditionally canonized. Apocryphal books must be included in any serious study of the gospel. I highly recommend spending the few dollars for this archive and navigation tool.
