Star2Star as a whole, is a good telephone company. Had some issues with billing that took awhile to get fixed due to miscommunication and other things, but their management team was excellent. I appreciate the time they took to look into and resolve the issue. As for small business, I'm not sure I would recommend using Star 2 Star for the fact that it might not be the best available option as far as costs go. We aren't a large company so we do not necessarily need all the things that the phone does at the prices we are being charged. But for larger businesses they are great. Plenty of lines and abilities with the phones. They are not difficult to reach when problems arise and quick replies to emails. Their contract auto renews- so make sure you read all the fine print before signing. Our old CEO is who made up our contract- was a little more than what we actually needed- but Star 2 Star was willing to work with us to reduce some of the bill for services not being used. Overall I would recommend the company for people looking for a good ViOP company.

I have nothing but hate for this telecommunication company. My ex partner in the business got involved with them years ago. Promises were made about it being less expensive and better service and it was all lies. I am still paying on the 5 year contract, yes I said 5, that i was coerced into agreeing to for the above reasons. I don't even use the company for my telecommunication needs because of all of the problems I had. But I still receive the bill every month. My ex partner is long gone but I am still stuck paying this bill. The customer service people ignore my questions.. the service was poor and the only thing worse than the service is their customer service. I hated this service from day 1. If you are looking to Star2Star communications from your business telecommunication services, I would suggest that you look elsewhere.

We recently changed our phone service to Star2Star and the set up and transition has been nothing short of a mess. Star2Star repeatedly dropped the ball and made careless mistakes, all of which have cost our company thousands of dollars because we were forced to keep our old phone service active for an extended period of time. At no point in time did I ever receive a phone call from anyone to discuss what was happening or to apologize for all the mistakes. It is very troubling that no one in this organization would be professional or grown up enough to accept responsibility for their mistakes -- very, very poor customer service. We requested a credit to our bill to compensate for the additional expenses and hassles and all we received was an email to our dealer that read "Unfortunately this was not approved". I would never recommend this company.

I've been a customer for 10 years, so this review isn't written as a fly by night tried the company. Within the past 9 months technical support has blamed every issue on routing, not enough call examples, every single excuse in the book. I asked for a manager to look into the tickets because it seem like an act of God to get anything fixed. The rep hung up on me when I was simply tired of the excuses. DO better guys, this is pitiful.

We have been with Star2Star for a little over 4 years. It has been the worst phone service I have ever been involved in. We spent over 5k to get started and have had to deal with dropped calls and very poor customer service. When we finally decided that we had to switch to another phone system because Star2Star was so inept and it cost us another 5k as the Star2Star phones were not compatible. Then Star2Star made us pay another 800 plus dollars in cancelation fees and unused contract of 60 months. Stay away from this company unless you want an unmitigated headache.

This company is the worst VOIP in our opinion, and auto-renewed our contract when we missed a 120-60 day window noted deep within the contract. The worst call quality we have ever expierienced in a VOIP system, Our $650/month bill was reduced to $80 a month by switching to digium on Flowroute. way batter call quality in my opinion. I will never recommend. They suck.

My husband worked at Star 2 Star for 7 years and loved the work atmosphere. It's a voice over IP company with many employees. The owner is Norman Worthington, the nicest person you will ever meet. His employees have awesome benefits. I will really miss the annual Christmas party, the only time of year I really got to dress up.

Horrible service and even worse customer service in general. Billing is often inaccurate and takes several calls to get it corrected. They seem to count on your giving up in frustration in order to avoid fixing any problems. Employees often do not return calls for help. One specifically, Hal Logan, is totally unprofessional. He is deceptive and lacks any integrity at all. He often spouts off about his personal politics, acting like an angry, spoiled brat, he rudely speaks poorly about the president, allowing his anger and bitterness to cloud his judgment on how badly he represents his company. I cannot in good conscience recommend Star 2 Star communications.
