I’m not sure where to even start. Probably one of the most stressful/worst experiences that I’ve ever had with something that is supposed to be enjoyable. Thank you to my realtor and my mortgage guy for being amazing throughout this whole process. My main issue is with the builder and the inspector that said everything looked good before letting us into the house. We have dinked up walls, paint on our light fixture in the master bathroom, curved walls in the guest bathroom and master bathroom. Our nozzle for the kitchen sink lasted one week and now I can’t even turn the sink on because the nozzle is stuck and is spraying water everywhere. They didn’t even finish nailing in our address numbers above our garage and didn’t even finish painting the trim underneath it. We have 2 dogs and sod was the main thing that we wanted so we can put a fence up as soon as we moved in. Sod was supposed to be put down before the house was completed but apparently since they started new construction next door they couldn’t do it? What if we had already had the sod and fence in before they started construction next door? They would’ve had to work around it. Now we have to wait until spring before they can do anything. So now we have to take our dogs outside in a muddy shitshow in freezing weather numerous times a day. I got one of the biggest loans out in my life and I feel like the job was half assed and they truly don’t care about me. I’ve reached out to my project manager a few times and he only replies when he feels like it. Just an overall bad experience and I truly don’t recommend this builder to anyone after what I had experienced. Do yourself a favor and find anyone else besides this company to build your house.

Everyone at Rolwes has been exceptional from Hilary, our sales agent to Amber, office manager, and Allen our project manager. Hilary made all of our decisions seem easy and seamless. She is super friendly and very knowledgeable and truly listens. Each of Amber’s emails to us have been timely and very professional. We have never met with a project manager before the construction of any home we built. Allen was exceptional at explaining to us what the process would look like in complete detail. We recently had our first walk through with him and again, his knowledge was incredible. The building process has been exactly as Allen said and they’ve met every timeline. The quality looks incredible. We have a firm closing date for early May and could not be happier.

Very happy with my experience with The ROLWES Company. Started the process of building a home with them in August. They make the process very simple and headache free. Had many different options of what to put in our home from the countertops, flooring, style of ceilings, cabinets and much more. When starting this process I always felt that building a home was a very long and stressful process but in working with the tremendous team they have put together it has been a breeze. I especially want to give a lot of credit to John who halfway through our home building process stepped in as our original head builder was assigned to a different neighborhood within the ROLWES Company. John has done an outstanding job in being readily available with his personal phone with any questions we might have at any time of the day. If you ask him a question at 2:00 in the morning he will either give you a call or text you an answer right away in the morning. He is very knowledgeable in the whole field and especially in our home that he stepped into halfway through the process. I applaud him for that. John has developed a great relationship with us and it’s almost like building a home with your friend now. Besides that him as well as others within the company are great personalities. Highly recommend The ROLWES Company to anyone who ever asks.

First and foremost, this has been the worst experience I have ever gone through.
Starting from day one when we sat down with the sales lady being a young couple my wife and I were definitely taken advantage of for our ignorance of the building process. Rolwes company is extremely quick to take money but very slow to deliver. We gave our “Ernest Money” then we were left in the dark for 3 months with no contact or updates minus the one time they sent our list of selections and increased the price more.
When it comes to the sales process it was extremely rushed and not informative as to what upgrades could be done and the cost attributable to the upgrade.
The build process was way too long and drug out.
Since moving in over a year ago we have noticed MANY corners cut . Our garage door was hung before drywall, and the drywaller disconnected the rails and opened the garage door.. of course it bent and was dismantled..granted it was never mounted straight and Rolwes company won’t fix this problem so we can’t open our garage overhead door all the way.
During our one year walk through many of my concerns were not addressed as I was rushed through the home so they could complete this “checklist”.. I addressed the inconsistencies in the floor and it was brushed off.
Many walls are not straight.. doors beat up.. poor construction.
Overall the home is standing but I DO NOT RECOMMEND doing business with these hacks.

UPDATE: still not fixed and the construction workers leave plenty of messes around neighborhoods. Last week they blew a hydraulic line and poured gallons of oil in the street/my driveway and left it for me to clean up!
No one answers their phone to address any concerns

Our experience with the Rowles Co. went very well. Our costruction supervisor kept us in the loop throughout the entire process. He responded to every text/phone message on the same day that it was sent. He answered all of our questions in an easily understandable way.
The sales and office staff were responsive to our wants and needs through out the entire process. The one issue that we had during construction was resolved, to our complete satisfaction, before I could finish laying out my case.
To wrap up the review, our experience was above the five star level

I strongly advise against this builder.

From the very get go, the sales rep Katie treated us like we were an inconvenience. I believe Rolwes took our money before they were actually ready to. They didn’t have plot plans or lot sizes etc, which was the first issue. After weeks of requesting to see lot sizes and plot plans they were trying to charge us to change our lot, after we were told we’d get an extension since they were waiting on the plot plans for the city. Then when decided after seeing the lot sizes that we wanted to change to a bigger lot and Katie and her manager told us not to change because it’d require a grinder pump, and ours wouldn’t.. so stupidly we listened… not only did we find out 1 month before closing that we had a grinder pump after all… its now smack dab in the middle of our backyard and can’t be covered up. Fast forward to breaking ground.. first they missed our 2nd paid for egress window.. thankfully we caught it and pointed it out, but this is where I lost more trust. We went through 3-4 project managers through out the process, it’d take weeks for anyone to respond to our questions, and now we have closed on the home and things are falling apart left and right.. there’s water in the basement, and the new project manager said “oh it’s because it rained a bunch”….. THERE SHOULDNT BE WATER COMING INTO OUR FOUNDATION. 🚩🚩 we have sink holes next to the exterior of our foundation and they are just pooling water. There is constant mud slides coming into our sod because of how they have mud piled up everywhere around us. Our garage door completely got mangled. Evidently it was broken before we moved in, and wasn’t fixed properly. Someone came out and fixed it today (7/5/2024) and then the interior garage door hinging component hardware snapped off.. and there’s some type of glue adhesive ALLLL over our brand new floors, they also got paint all over the floors in several places.. There’s chipped cabinets and they said someone would come out but it’s been a week since we closed and no one has come. The whole thing is really, honestly quite embarrassing.

We chose this builder for the fact that we wanted to be a few doors down from my in-laws.. (they bought with a different builder.)

We thought it may just be us having a hard time with the builder, but we’ve met several of our soon to be neighbors and issues with them seem to be reoccurring.
