At Roblar we combined a tasting of red varietals and blends, which we thoroughly enjoyed, with a delicious lunch under the vine-covered arbors shading the spacious patio bordered by tall wildflowers in bloom. How can you go wrong with several delicious reds (our friends enjoyed the whites), a BLT made with candied bacon and heirloom tomatoes, and a panzanella salad with more heirloom tomatoes? Our excellent meal ended with freshly baked chocolate chip and peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, which paired perfectly with the beautiful Cab Franc reserve. It was almost unfortunate that the weather was perfect because we were unable to enjoy the spectacular indoor tasting room or indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Our friends, who were driving back to Long Beach, also stocked up on a few vegetables from the winery’s honor farm stand across from the horse parking area.

My wife and I are currently members of a different local winery, which aches my heart, so we are cancelling and joining Roblar, as they represent the whole package!
The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly, and the food is not only good, it’s perfect. Since going several times, I’ve been able to try several dishes and since I’m not exactly a wine snob, I am a food dude, so that’s what my review is focused on.
Their black garlic Caesar salad has been a starter and even main course almost every single visit. It’s the perfect Caesar salad and for me to say perfect… it’s a huge win.
The pizza’s are great, particularly the pepperoni with the hot honey glaze. It sneaks up on you and just bursts with flavor.
If you’re around on a Thursday, definitely make the reservation for the afternoon fried chicken. It’s magical and the best I’ve ever had. Comes with a hot honey butter, and corn bread. I hate corn bread and theirs is A+! Will knock you off your feet.
Side note, my wife loves the Rosé.

Roblar Winery in Santa Ynez is an absolute gem! Sitting outside overlooking the garden was stunning—it felt like the perfect place to relax and soak in the beauty of the surroundings. The food was incredible; we ordered the Caesar salad, pepperoni pizza, fig and goat cheese pizza, and bucatini pasta, and you could really taste the freshness, knowing many of the ingredients were sourced from the farm.

The ambiance was great, creating a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. The staff was super nice and made the experience even better. It's also a fun place to walk around and explore, adding to the overall peaceful vibe. Highly recommend for a memorable visit!

Se had a nice experience at this winery.
We didn’t have a reservation but they received us very kindly, we sat at the bar and had a tasting that the attendant, Carolina if I’m not wrong, served us and made some changes taking in consideration what we like. The only thing I would say is that the charcuterie and cheese plate is very small for the price, but all the rest were really nice.

I can’t say much of the food since we did not have any but what we saw in other tables looked good. Prices in the food menu seemed fair as well. We only had the flight and the attendant was very accommodating to my preferences. He changed the flight wines and gave me a more complete experience. Since my wife likes wines on the sweet side he offered a small sample of what he thought had the best chance of pleasing her. It did not work but he was again very nice about it. Overall can’t say enough about the good service. I liked the wines, they were featuring blends and each one was very unique.

Nansy was the best sommelier ever. Our favorite wine was sangre de los dioses and the Cabernet Franc. Muchas Garcias!

What a lovely place to have a little bit of lunch and a drink.

The outdoor seating looks out over the most incredible flower and veggie display/garden.

Thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich I had, and I heard the cacio e pepe was another favorite at our table.

Would recommend if you’re looking for a wine vineyard to enjoy lunch and try some of the wines in the area.
