09/02/2024 Had Bruch with the family this past September. Everything was great except the fact the seated a family of 6 adults in a booth. If they had waited 5 more minutes we could have been seated at a table. My sister-in-law was on fire but we had a great time regardless.

Stopped in before jumping on the Parkway. very close in proximity making its location convenient.
Wait staff were pleasant and accommodating. Reasonably priced with decent portions.
Food and coffee were both good.
Expansive onsite parking as well.

Cute diner, prices were around $18-20 for dinner items, which seemed a bit high for diner food. I got a $20 chicken parm with penne pasta, chicken was crispy, but the sauce on the pasta tasted like something dumped out of a jar, not very good, only ate about half of it. Had chicken soup included, which was like typical diner soup, very good.
Service was excellent, server was very friendly and attentive!
My toddler enjoyed the back of the placemats being a kids coloring page.

Stopped in after a hot day at the zoo. Fantastic service and atmosphere! I ordered a patty melt with steak fries and was soooooo happy that it was cooked to perfection and seasoned very well! It's just a patty melt but it matters! We will definitely make sure to stop in again when we are down that way!

I come from RI. Every year for the last 15 years we have come down to Cape May for a week.. it is unanimous in our family that the Rio Grand Diner is our favorite place.. The food is always good and plenty, with reasonable prices.. The entire staff is friendly and has always had a beautiful smile when greating us.. It like they enjoy working there.. what a concept...I can't express how good we feel just walking through the front door knowing we will have good food and treated like an old friend no mater what time of day it is... So once again thank you...

Great food. Service is great. We were there 10 minutes before they opened and Angelo let us in to wait at our table. Establishment is clean. Workers are friendly, professional, courteous.
We were here for dinner, our server, Amanda made us feel welcomed and like we were family and when we returned for breakfast,our server was Nicole. Truly a sweetheart. We will return on our next lighthouse challenge.
