Raspberry Island Lodge delivered an unbeatable fishing experience. The guides knew their stuff, the views were incredible, and the fishing was top-notch. We saw so many whales and wild life while fishing. It’s a beautiful place. Food was so fresh and flavorful too! ||It’s all about the people and the crew made the experience so incredible! They were so kind and accommodating in every way. I highly recommend!

What an amazing place…. The trees are beginning to turn so the greens are mixed with some beautiful red leaves.. the fishing was great but that’s not the only reason to come… My wife had been talking about deep sea fishing and Halibut for a while and this place was a dream… the rooms are comfortable, the views are spectacular, and the food and accommodations are great we even enjoyed the Alaskan backwoods hot tub… they have a new bigger better one being built now, we’ll have to come back when it’s done!!!

This was one of the greatest experiences of my life!
Eric and the team were incredibly knowledgeable, experienced, and pleasant to spend time around. Kendra and Felicity cooked breakfast and dinner every night which was amazing to start and end the long days of fishing. The sandwich bar was a great addition in my opinion!
The lodge was a great place to lounge around with a beautiful view and a morning coffee or an evening beverage. Plenty of seating to stay comfortable and enjoy some good times with good company.
They have some cool, new cabins with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Our beds were tightly remade everyday with fresh towels on top - a great touch!
The fishing was a phenomenal experience and much of our time was spent out on the water reeling in fish!
Captains Paul and Gary were fun, interesting, and knowledgeable and always got us to some solid spots.
Salmon, Halibut, Rockfish, Cod... We caught a ton!
Had the opportunity to see some whales, bears, eagles, and otters were floating around everyday.
Could say more about this place, but it was an unforgettable trip and I can't wait to visit again. Plenty of fish now to stock for myself and share with family and friends!

The staff are so great! Making sure the experience is enjoyable and memorable.. the food is exceptional and you are treated to first rate service. Fishing was superb, boat captains assisted with everything as you needed. Staff filleted and boxed fish for shipping with awesome skill. Sleeping quarters cabins are also a place of peace and comfort and the lodge is a gathering place of social interaction and laughter.

Our trip to Raspberry Island Lodge was nothing short of phenomenal. If you're looking for the ultimate Alaskan fishing experience, this is the place. From start to finish, everything exceeded our wildest expectations!

The fishing was hands down the highlight of the trip. We caught boatloads of fish—salmon, rockfish, giant halibut, and cod. Our boat captain, Paul, was an absolute legend, guiding us through some of the best fishing I've ever experienced. But it wasn't just the fishing—it was the whole atmosphere. As we cast our lines, whales surrounded us, spouting and singing in the distance. The sound of whales amidst the majestic Kodiak Island backdrop was nothing short of magical and mystical. I couldn’t believe how surreal it felt, almost like a dream.

The lodge itself? Wow. Kendra’s cooking was out of this world. Who knew you could have gourmet meals in such a remote, wild place? Every meal was to die for, making our experience even more unforgettable. I still can't get over how amazing the food was!

And the crew—every single one of them was an absolute gem. They didn’t just make us feel like guests; they made us feel like family. From helping us catch fish to vacuum-sealing and freezing our haul, they handled everything with such care and attention to detail. They really made the experience effortless for us.

The accommodations were immaculate. The rooms were so clean and cozy, and I slept better than I have in years. The entire lodge is both fun and luxurious, and it's clear that every detail has been thoughtfully considered.

Raspberry Island Lodge is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Kodiak. Between the breathtaking scenery, the unbelievable fishing, and the exceptional hospitality, this trip was the experience of a lifetime.

This was an unbelievable adventure!! Fishing, new friends, so many whales, bald eagles and otters, and a little fox. The entire crew is all about making sure we had a memorable time here. Paul, the captain of our boat, was so helpful, and really scoped out the fishing spots! Halibut, ling cod, cod, rockfish, some salmon, and a variety of other ocean fish were caught.Some were keepers, some went back in the water. The food was delicious! It is a trip I would recommend and would do a repeat! Eric and Sydney, owners, obviously love what they do, as everyone working here. They made us feel like family?

This place is a trip of a lifetime!!! Getting into the remote parts of our world and having experiences like this I’d put it on par with Fiji except you need warmer clothes. The views and nature is amazing fishing here is comfortable the waves can be bigger some days so plan ahead if you get motion sick. We wanted to catch halibut and long and we happily got both plus additional species. Loved jigging for Halibut while a pod of Orcas swam by… simply amazing glad my wife talked me into this trip.

The fishing was awesome! Eric made the trip fun for newbies and veterans alike! The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The food was awesome. I really enjoyed this trip. We got to see whales and glaciers as well.
