The bootcamp provided me with more practical skills for building things than my bachelor's degree in management information systems ever did. It gave me a deeper understanding of the concepts and their reasoning. Upgrading my skills was really helpful, and after completing the program, I felt confident enough to aggressively search for new job opportunities. I had saved up several months' worth of cash before finishing the bootcamp specifically to leave my job, dedicate myself to learning, and search for new jobs after the camp. With the foundation I received from Promineo, I felt structured and focused enough to continue learning. They also taught me where to find the right documentation to keep going. This morning, for example, I spent an hour and a half learning TypeScript, which was once an intimidating subject for me.

I want to acknowledge the exceptional mentors and teachers who were part of my cohort. They were incredibly welcoming and skilled at laying down the fundamentals. Our live class teacher was particularly outstanding and went above and beyond to help us outside of class. She provided us with extra support sessions to work on anything we needed help with, without expecting anything in return. It is rare to find instructors who are so dedicated and willing to spend their free time online to assist their students when they aren’t getting paid.

Overall, I am extremely grateful for the work that Promineo has done. Although I incurred a lot of debt from my bachelor's degree, this bootcamp provided me with better instruction in a shorter timeframe for significantly less money, which will enable me to pay off my debt with minimal effort in less than a year. By the time I finished the bootcamp, I had left my previous job. I am excited to move forward with my newly acquired skills in my job search ahead. Promineo left me with confidence in myself and in my ability to develop quality code that expresses my character and follows best practices.

I'm currently nearing the tail end of the backend software dev bootcamp (pun not intended). It has been a fun journey! It's great to be able to shift careers in such a short amount of time, for a very affordable price, rather than going hard into the paint with a CS Bachelor's. The help from mentors, fellow students, former students, and instructors is abundant. So, even if you have no previous coding experience, you will do just fine. Promineo has a different approach to learning that I've found more effective than previous college classes. The class is more driven through doing things yourself and learning things at your own pace, doing your own research -- it's geared towards getting you into the field, rather than using a bulky textbook and boring lecture. With that said, there is also a career section of the course that will help you network and show you the best practices with resumes, interviews, etc. They really want you to be able to break into tech. In fact, I landed an IT internship before finishing the bootcamp! So overall, I give it a 5/5.

I had a great experience with Promineo Tech. I completed their backend development class in September, and was thoroughly impressed with how helpful they were from start to finish. The coursework was challenging but doable and the time requirements were realistic. Promineo Tech's backend development class teaches major technologies which are in use today in ,the marketplace and will be seen as valuable by most employers. Those technologies include teaching Java and SQL as well as how to access and build a RESTApi Springboot project using Maven, JPA to form entities, and Spring JPA to implement SQL code. I was very impressed with the quality of instruction and extremely excited about the technologies. Thank you Promineo Tech for introducing me into the world of coding technologies, and I highly recommend their course if you want a challenging Bootcamp that is user friendly but will also place you in the midst of current day hot technologies.

I completed Promineo Tech's Front End Development program a few weeks ago and had a really positive experience. This 18-week program is challenging but Promineo Tech has created a supportive community of instructors, mentors and students that helped me along the way.
Besides the weekly videos, the program offers a 90-minute weekly live session with up-to-date instruction, one-on-one mentor sessions, several opportunities for office hours with mentors like Chris Conway, and career services support led by Jenn Best who is super knowledgeable and helpful. I also enjoyed having access to other instructors' recordings that exposed me to different programming styles.
A special thanks to my instructor, Natalie Childs, a talented software developer who is passionate about helping others in their own journey to become a developer. Thank you to all my mentors, especially Kristina Macias who weekly met with me and helped me overcome my coding challenges and to my friends Chris, Amanda, Michelle and many others, who made the bootcamp a shared and enjoyable experience.
Although there is no perfect bootcamp, including much more expensive programs, I am so glad I made the decision of enrolling in Promineo Tech's Front End Development Program.

The education I received at Promineo Tech has been life changing. This program has given me the opportunity to pursue a career as a software developer after working in human services for 20+ years. The instructors and mentors are amazing and the environment was so much more collaborative than I expected. It has been wonderful meeting people from all over who also share a passion for learning how to code, design programs, and “build things.” I’ve felt supported and encouraged throughout this amazing learning journey.

The curriculum is comprehensive and relevant to the current tech needs and trends. In addition, the Career Services program is top notch! I really enjoyed the Digital Marketing Course at Promineo Tech. I have worked in marketing for five years prior to taking the course, and the knowledge I gained from the course was very insightful and helped refine my skillset. I recommend this course for anyone looking to get into digital marketing, or even for people already in the field who are wanting to sharpen their skills. Kelly and Joe were extremely helpful throughout the entire course!

Great place for a "newbie" with no experience to learn coding. Still will be tough; but not bad at all to catch up to speed.
Get a good base knowledge to get you career ready.

Mentors are willing to be directed messaged, and helpful with most question one would have. Homework is easy to keep up with and fair. Highly recommend Matthew Cox. My teacher Edwin is also quick and to the point and will answer question if you fell stuck. Edwin is always willing to be direct messaged to answer any other questions as well.

I have a 10 month old and I had lots of long nights where i would stay up to finish weekly projects so do be prepared to sacrifice some time. Videos need up dating and they are working on it.

They have a slack where everyone is active and post questions most people are fast to reply they also have a discord where you can also ask for help. So safe to say some one is willing to look at code, and help you; But also know you will be doing a lot of research witch is what you are getting into so become good at googling.

If you get a job offer the career service people are easy to get a hold of and look at the company to make sure you are making the right choice.
