This place is some of the best hiking/walking trails around with beautiful scenery and wildlife. They also continuously have events based around environmental education. We went on a Herb walk that the center hosted and it was just beyond informative and a great time. In the winter they have trails for snowshoeing and skiing! Bring your dog, your kids or just yourself and step out into nature at Pierce Cedar Creek.

If you really want to see nature at its most pristine, you need to visit. The hiking trails are nothing fancy, but you get a glimpse and taste of what early indigenous and European settlers found in their travels here.
There are places to picnic and even a playground at the visitor center. Geocaching is available. There are hiking maps and age appropriate workbooks for children, along with a gift shop at the main center.
Various public classes on natural world topics are offered regularly as well. Check out the website for more information. A trip worth taking off the beaten path!

Our crochet group meets here on occasion. We bring our lunch and eat in the dining room, then settle in the main room. The staff and atmosphere are amazing. And what a view! Love this place ❤️

One of my favorite places to explore with my toddler! They offer various trails at different skill levels, a beautiful building to host special events, and a nature-themed play area for kids and adults alike!
