Had my laptop screen cracked. They were very quick to fix, called and emailed me when the repair was finished and overall happy with the service!

I'm honestly shocked at how many good reviews this place has, because my experience was awful. I took my laptop there because it would not power on after my boyfriend spilled water on the power adapter. They told me I had to pay a $99 deposit, but that the fee would be deducted from the cost of any service. I was told I would hear back from them in 2-3 days. Well, it took them a full week to even tell me what the problem was, and then they said they didn't keep the parts on hand and would have to order them from China. They estimated that the parts would come in around February 17th and then they would do the repair after that and it would cost $425.

I was honestly really shocked. I certainly can't afford to be without my laptop for over a month, and at that price, I'd be better off just buying a new device. What kind of computer repair place doesn't keep parts on hand? Since they said the cost of any service would be deducted from the deposit, I asked if I could have my data recovered off of the hard drive, and they said that would be extra and would not be covered by the deposit. So I paid them a hundred bucks for absolutely nothing. I feel like I was robbed.

EDITED TO ADD: To respond to what management said regarding my review, I was never once shown the damaged components of my laptop. I was also never offered a replacement device to use while they had my laptop. Even though they didn't even repair anything, they had my laptop for almost two weeks. So if you need your device for anything important, this place is SLOW. And the fact that they wouldn't use my deposit towards the cost of recovering the data off my hard drive is why I feel like I was robbed. I was told that deposit would be deducted from any service costs. They did nothing for me and the lies in their response to my review just highlight what an unprofessional establishment this is.

Quick, efficient and correct service. P2P did a wonderful job repairing my broken Mac screen at a very fair price. They communicated every step of the way. I would recommend them over their competitors in the state college area.

Overpriced for what they do. I had a Windows machine that wouldn't boot into Windows and I suspected a failing hard drive. They charged me $99 to essentially just turn the system on, see that it just goes straight to the BIOS, and said essentially "Yes your hard drive is broken". They quoted $400-$500 for data recovery and an option to buy a 150 GB SSD for $150 (which is insanely overpriced). So I took the computer home, discovered that the drive was not dead, but in a hardware safe mode because of bad sectors and the drive detected that it was failing so put it in read only mode.

I bought an NVMe external enclosure for $24 and a top-of-the-line 2 Terabyte Samsung 990 pro SSD for $164 (hence why their offer a measly 150 GB SSD for $150 is overpriced), downloaded a free 30-day trial of Macrium Reflect, cloned the dying drive to the new one, and got my entire system back as if nothing had changed. So for less than $200, I was able to completely restore my system, whereas they were quoting more than twice that just to try to recover files.

I'm sure that they do good work for people who are not technically minded at all as well as for minor problems. But for at least my interaction with them, it was a disappointing experience.

The service staff was very patient and helped to check the computer charging problem. The problem was solved very quickly, the price was reasonable, and they helped to clean the dust on the computer. I was very anxious to solve the charging problem because of the upcoming exam. The service was very fast, so I could review for the exam with peace of mind. And the service staff promised that if there is still a battery problem, they will serve me for free. Thank you very much for solving my urgent problem! !

I recently had my laptop repaired here, and I couldn't be happier with the service! The team was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and quick. They diagnosed the issue right away and had my laptop up and running in no time. Not only was the repair done efficiently, but the pricing was also very fair. They even offered helpful tips for future maintenance. I highly recommend this place for anyone needing fast, reliable, and affordable computer.

I had a good experience with P2P. I had bought a network from the previous owners and have since moved away. Recently the network wouldn't turn on and I couldn't find anyone locally who could fix it. On a visit back to State College I brought it in. P2P fixed the problem in a reasonable amount of time and shipped the network back to me. I'm pleased and grateful.

Originally came here because I broke my computer screen and needed it fixed. When I brought it in the worker told me it would take 3-5 business days for the computer to be done and ready for pick up.

It was approaching 6 business days and I haven't heard a response back from them. Tried calling, texting, and emailing multiple times just to get a hold of them. (It took me multiple tries just to get ONE response back from them). They then later told me it was going to take a few days longer, and there was another problem with the computer causing it to be more money than I was originally was made aware of (Note, I had to reach out to them for this information, nothing was provided).

Finally, after 2+ weeks the computer was done and ready for pickup. The same worker I had dropped off the computer with told me that it took 3-5 business days to order the parts and then longer to do the repair. If I were made aware of this when I brought my laptop in, it would've been no problem, as I would've known how long it would take to get the repair done. But he misinformed me and did not give me an accurate time line.

Although I do appreciate the company giving me a $25 discount off an almost $700 repair, I wish they would've communicated better by answering their phone and telling customers true information on when their electronics would be done by.
