I enjoy the OD rewards program and offers... but it's really annoying when I'm trying to be conscious about my waste and the associate doesn't let me choose whether I want the receipt emailed or not printed when it comes up on the keypad, just quickly presses print receipt for no reason. There are options for a reason. Also when you have 4 or 5 customers in line, and the person getting rung up all of sudden needs to be shown where something is, it's probably best to find someone to take over for you to ring up the other customers or have them show the customer where to find it, instead of walking away and making others wait for a few minutes for another associate to finally come over.

Went into the Opelika, AL location. We tried 3 different chairs in which none were available. They wouldn't sale the display. I would understand if it was only 1, but 3!?!? I will take my personal and my work business elsewhere. I would be embarrassed as a company to be out of so many items but have display models of items not available.

I travel all over the place, and I have done so for decades. I dealt with Kinko's and local copy shops when they were the only places available to get last-minute flyers for suddenly changed venues (for punk and thrash shows in the 1980s and '90s) and they were often closed early (mom-and-pop shops) or staffed with idiots (Kinko's, duh).

These days, remain on the road. Most of the chain stores (Staples, etc.) that forced Kinko's and those mom-and-pop copy shops are poorly staffed with people who neither know nor care.

There are outliers, however, staffed with competent, caring staff. The Office Depot store in Opelika, AL is one such store. I am grateful to Kai and Aurora for helping to get a reprint of a book I needed that day to drop off that day before I continued on to the next state. They knew their shit, they understood the problems with the Office Depot website (hey, corporate: FIX IT!), and they got the six proof copies ready for pickup by the time I had finished my meal.

Office Depot would do well to listen to these two employees.

I was directed to the help I needed from the time I walked in the door. Not only was I guided through my service for buying supplies and mailing a couple of packages, but the three people who helped me were cheerfully helpful. It was so perfectly nice that I returned when I got to the exit and told them that I'd had a pleasant experience. Great staff!

Mike in the printing dept went over and beyond helping me get the documents I needed printed.. he helped me through the entire process! Because of his excellent customer service they've gained a new customer indeed.

Curbside order was a fail. Beyond disappointed! Product was used. Apparently, this location do not check their returns and sadly unaware of product return damages to even put the item back on the sale floor. Visible damage is seen on surface of package to electronic device. Sticker on open product was lifted. In addition, numerous scratch on interface of recorder and air bubbles on protective seal! I needed this device the next day and it ruined a speck of my day! Batteries was missing. When I opened the back piece from device, there was visible rust on prongs for battery and drainage. Manager was of no help nor shared any concerns to what happen. I made return and left.

I was looking for Christmas stamps. It showed this store had them online. I went in to get them, the person in the business center told me they DID have them and checked me out. After I paid she said oh we don’t have Christmas stamps. So needless to say I’m mad. She should’ve checked before telling me they did and speaking like she actually knew they did have them. I rarely shop at this store because it’s always something screwed up every time I’ve ever bought anything from them. This was my last time to ever step in there. Office Depot is the worst office store, especially this location.?
