The mobile app is as bad as you have heard. The worst in the industrusty restoration or construction. If you filter by newest, it's been months or years since a positive review has been posted. The developers need to try other platforms and get some ideas.
The trainers are very good and helpful, but they can only do so much. We are trying to get him to help resolve open support tickets. I know he feels terrible, but support is inadequate. If it gets elevated, forget it.
I have used several platforms, and this one has such promise, but it is falling further and further behind.
They need to add to the development teams asap.
A couple of quick points
The app is so basic, so terrible. I'll leave that alone. It's been beaten to death. Start over..
For the desktop version, the note section, there is no availability to format or preserve the format of emails, texts, or notes. If you were to copy this into the note section, it would be unreadable.
The calendar is almost useless and a mess.
Providing and completing schedules for clients for restoration, repairs, and construction is awful.
The app and the desktop version lack features that most restoration and construction platforms consider basic features.
It's showing its age. They need to bring some new talent that's used other software and implement some design and feature changes before it's too late.

Mediocre app and product at best. You will need DASH, MICA and LUXOR to have a "complete" restoration management & field program and even then those may not be enough. All are purchased individually and are some of the most expense and lackluster restoration products on the market. There are other apps/programs better, more inclusive and much less expensive. The even bigger slap in the face is you spend a ton of money with NextGear and their customer service might be the worst on the planet. The 24/7 toll free line NEVER gets answered or calls returned, emails go unanswered for days/weeks if they get returned at all. Their live chat can be helpful, but only on a basic level - any problems or needs more robust will likely not get resolved. Their development on upgrades, code fixes and customer requests move at about the speed of molasses flowing uphill on a winter day.

The software, trainers and live support is great. However, if your support case is escalated, be prepared for a long wait before receiving a resolution.
