Called the Fairbanks number and got Anchorage store. Talked to a nice guy, who told me that fairbanks has a warehouse not a store. He told me he would call me back to let me know if something was available up here. No calls, no follow up, when I called back he was on phone with another customer. Left another message. Nothing. This is second and last time these guys screwed us.. no more business for them. Worst customer service ever!

Absolutely loved working with Microcom. We were coming to Fairbanks to do some remote work and they were amazing at helping us with a Starlink system. Marianne was super informative and was available for every question we had. I happily recommend them!

Absolutely subterranean lousy service. Told salesman (as in cartoon “show used car” salesman), Rob, that I don’t understand tech so to save the sale he said he’d do the hook up. He had no idea what he was doing, messed up entering my email & everything so when the first worthless whatever (modem?) unit didn’t work, it took hours and hours of phone time to get additional lousy service from the 800 number people. Back and forth with shipping modems. $$ Back and forth requesting and not getting local help. $$ Meanwhile, charged for “service use” of which there was none. $$ Promises, failure to follow through. Unanswered calls as many reviews attest. Whole thing cost me about $500 for n-o-T-h-I-n-g. I don’t know anyone who is happy with so-called “Direct”. Boo and shame. They don’t deserve even one star.

Installed my dish September 8th, I paid for the international dish, technician didn't bring it with him, said they would bring it the next week, no word from them, have called 3 times, left 3 messages, no response. I got a bill for international channels even with it not hooked up, not happy at all with the service provided!

The technician, Jason, who showed up for our service took the time to answer all of our questions. He did an outstanding job. It's a shame that Dish call center doesn't comprehend that Alaska doesn't get all of the same transponders as the lower 48. Thanks Jason!

Not true to their word and have been unprofessional. Very slow to act. Spent almost $700.00 to buy and have dish unit installed. They could not get line of site to the satellite so service was not available. Requested a refund a few weeks ago and I am still fighting with them to get back my refund. They just give one excuse after another and make promises that never come to fruition. Use caution. Very poor business practices.

No help from the staff trying to replace 2 Dish Network receivers. Only response to me was to call Dish Network back (a third time). Already called twice - Dish Network instructed me to go to Microcom to set up install. When I asked to speak with manager, I was told they don't have one. Maybe the staff are also the owners so I was speaking to "them".... I guess since they have a captive market, they can act this way. Plan to put the same basic review on Dish Network's site.

Could not communicate well. They did not understand me. Nor I them! Had to move t.v. cabinet. Up down off the floor! Plug unplug junk! Tech came out, showed me what to do snap of the fingers!!! Give me old direc t.v. owners!!
