They recently switched their online payment system and it's been an absolute mess to setup a new account--- why fix what isn't broken?!?! I finally resorted to pay my bill through the phone using a credit card and was hit with $17 credit card processing fee! After sitting through an almost 2 min message explaining that customers are getting billed the wrong amounts and that there are issues with the online system and waiting on hold for a representative I was able to set-up an online account. What a hassle and I hope Marina gets this figured out soon. Their payment options are archaic and costly(they also have the option for you drop off a check during their very limited hours), what a way to fleece to their customers and waste their time just so we can pay our water bill.

Military moving in from Virginia and need to put utilities in my name to sign my rental lease. They give zero alternative to their in person requirement for photo ID and cash payment. Ridiculous that there's not an option in 2025 for people moving from 1000s of miles away to set up their water beforehand.

You can buy an entire house virtually but not have water setup.

Currently to start service, the Connect Order form is required to be delivered in person along with a deposit in cash or check. I hope they can automate the meter connect order by accepting online payment in the future.
