Josh and Katie are great hosts...all their dogs were fun to hunt with as well. The birds were beautiful and provided challenging shots. Fun being able to shoot both roosters and hens. Josh cleaned and prepped all the birds and even prepared some special feather mixtures to take home and remember the hunt with.

We recently hunted two days at Lone Pine and had a fabulous time. Josh and Katy are wonderful hosts and went out of their way to accommodate us. Josh and his dogs were great in the field and helped us harvest our pheasant and chukar. Lunch and processing the birds are included in the package price. If you’re looking for a place to have a great hunt run by wonderful folks, I highly recommend them. Thanks again Lone Pine!

I have hunted at Lone Pine for years and I have always had a great experience. Two years ago we lost our 11yr old GSP (Rowdy) to cancer. So last year I we purchased a GSP puppy (Mable) who I have been unable to spend the time afield that I did with our faithful Rowdy. I called the new owners of Lone Pine (Josh & Katy) and Josh willingly agreed to help me do some training. I went out and spent an afternoon with Josh (and Mable). Josh was awesome! He spent time instructing me and working with Mable to find out where we were with training. He gave me suggestions to go home with along with a few wings. We always loved Mike and Beth (the previous owners) for not only the hunts but the hospitality. It appears that the tradition of Lone Pine will be carried on with Josh and Katy. The properties that they hunt are spectacular for wonderful day in the outdoors.

We had a blast at Lone Pine Hunting Preserve. Pun intended! Our party of 4 went out for Chukars. Afterwards, we hung out in the lodge, had lunch, and shared stories with our hosts. They are incredibly friendly and hospitable. I would highly recommend LPHP without hesitation.

Had a great field hunt there today. Started out the day at 45 degrees and then 55 by noon. We used their dog Bill who did an excellent job, really not many birds ran on us but I bet Bill had a lot to do with that. We bagged plenty of birds and had 3 hours of excellent fun. Also many thanks to Quinton who guided like a pro. Robert and I will be back!

Conditions were tough with warm for season weather and winds gusting to probably 20 mph. Even so, we were able to harvest some birds thanks to great work from the dogs and the guide. Will definitely go back
