So, I have a high-end 3-monitor gaming PC that I've been upgrading for years. Just at the beginning of October 2021, to my surprise, Windows 10 gave me a notice that my PC wasn't eligible for the free upgrade to Windows 11. My motherboard didn't have the Intel TPM chip installed.
I researched online for motherboards that have this capability (here's a little hint for everyone: all ASUS motherboards have had this chipset since 2015 - you just have to manually enable it yourself - took 2 minutes) and bought an ASUS, a liquid cooling system and a new PC tower case.
Now, who's going to take the hefty components from my old tower, transfer them to the new one and also install the new purchases I made?
Do I trust the Geek Squad? - No.
Do I miss Fry's Electronics? - Oh, yes.
I was so lucky to find the two guys at J & S Advanced I.T. They responded to my Yelp question within minutes of posting, told me they could help and set up an appointment for me.
I dropped off all of my gear at their convenient office in the heart of lovely Thousand Oaks and they finished this big job the SAME DAY.
When I picked up my computer, they brought me to the office, showed it was working, ran diagnostics and performance tests. They even transferred all of my files for me. Outstanding !!
An amazing job, reasonable prices, professional owners and fast service!!

After months of stable internet in our home, we developed very frustrating intermittent freezing on video calls- zoom, FaceTime, etc. Tried to diagnose on our own and with our internet provider, but got nowhere. Based on other reviews we called J & S. Best decision ever! Jason was committed to solving our problem, and did not give up until he found the source of our trouble. He continued to follow up with us to be sure the problems didn't return. Very knowledgeable and nice person, we highly recommend his services.

Jason and Sean were great. Our previous home wifi internet speed was poor, the network unstable and spotty. They replaced our wifi system and also connected us to a wired ethernet system. Now our internet is flying and the system works smoothly. They were polite, helpful, on time, efficient in completing the job, reasonably priced, and the end product is what we hoped for. We are very happy and will definitely recommend J&S and use them for our future IT needs.

Running a construction business means we need our computers to function properly 24/7 in order for us to provide quality service. J&S Advanced IT was who we called when we needed prompt and efficient service. They were able to replace our work computer hard drive, transfer data and reinstall the operating system so we were able to continue our day-to-day operations. My laptop was in bad shape! Besides being broken (screen seperated from keyboard on one side}, I was getting messages about a "bad power cord". After 30 minutes of use, I was unable to continue working. I called J&S and explained the situation. Jason picked-up my laptop and later told me what the problems were, and gave an estimate of repair costs. He delivered my laptop, completely repared, and looking like new. He was very professional, responded quickly, and completed the repairs at a reasonable price. I was impressed with the fact that they do pick-up/delivery. I strongly recommend this business,
