Beautiful little garden. You can enter right off the street. Very peaceful and a nice place to take a photo. There is a tea room at one end but you cannot enter, and it hasn't been well maintained lately.
But we enjoyed this pretty, and delightful zen style garden.

Excellent little garden with a few WW2 guns and an aircraft carrier propeller as outside exhibits.
A lot of plaques with history of significant people of WW2.

Beautiful peaceful spot in San Antonio! There's a fabulous waterfall and stunning foliage. I didn't get many photos that didn't include family members to post here, but photos don't do this place justice anyway. It's gorgeous! We had a lovely walk around and then a delicious Chai latte from the little cafe. Paths and bridges are uneven and steep in places - Something to bear in mind for anyone with mobility issues. My 80+ year old parents are in his shape and they managed fine. However, there is a lovely view from the top of the gardens for those that can't make the path.

Very small place for quiet contemplation. Has one bench. Small stream. Tea house closed. Big koi confined to tiny area.

Quiet and well maintained garden next door to the big pacific war museum. There are some stations to read and listen about the meaning of the garden—it is free to enter/you just walk right in, you do not need a museum ticket to visit this portion of the museum

Visited the Japanese Garden of Peace only since we did not have enough time to really enjoy the entire Pacific War Museum.

The Garden is stunning! The design, flow and vegetation are all so peaceful. I couldn't recommend it enough. We loved just getting to sit and enjoy the relaxing vibes.

It is not very big, but is worth taking a few minutes to stop by and see it!

I've always wondered where this place was. Come to find out, we've been walking past it for years, always on our way to somewhere else. So glad we took some time to take a stroll through the garden. It's beautiful! It was gifted to the Museum of the Pacific War by the people of Japan in 1976, as a symbol of peace and reconciled friendship between the two countries.
