Sketchy part of town BUT This gas station has a bunch of stuff, it's really helpful especially when you live in the RV park next door or neighborhood cus there's no grocery store on the island and The prices are usually pretty good for groceries and gas. the staff is good too. They also have a bunch of drink selections and a bunches home items in case you need them. Like pet food, paper and even fishing supplies so yes, this is a very convenient convenience store and gas station.

I love this little store. It's been here since I was a little kid. I am now in my 64. It is one of few businesses that has survived time on this island. Gateway Market is a great place to pick up those forgotten items and much more. The staff is always friendly and helpful. You can also get gasoline and pick up some scratches for the lottery. Gateway Market is a great place to get your snacks for your boating trip, beer, wine, soda, and cigarettes.

Everything is overpriced... then again, what do you expect from an isolated Island?... I just bought a 12 pack of Cokes from WinCo for $4.97.
Same sells for about $15 here.

Higher priced gas, typical quick stop for the one-off things you need. Customer service is okay. I really only stop here for propane refill, and even that is pricey. I paid $3.49/gallon in Rio Vista, and it is $4.99 here?!

Raj, 3 times I'm left waiting for propane refill.

The time it took me to load my 30 lbs tank in the truck and drove to Bethel Mark, refueled and shopped for some items that your store don't carry... isn't worth my time or money at Gateway Market.

To use a baseball analogy... three strikes, you're out.

Thought to give a retry. I was walking my little girl when a spontaneous notion, decided to get some ice. I picked her up and carried her in, got the ice and on my way to the counter, your clerk found it necessary to find his way to me quickly, to point out a hastily made sign, no pets, and told me "no pets allowed", so I left the ice on the counter and left.

But after a year of patronizing Sinclair for propane and incidentals, I went to the Valero station and paid only $3.99 per gallon. Why do you charge a $1.00 more? You may be nearby, but I'm done with rude and over priced practices.

It's definitely got its own personality. It doesn't have the best gas prices, but they're far from the worst, and their staff can't be beat on being genuinely friendly and cool. Good selection in the store too
