Don't bother talking to these people. Their priority is to take your medical information and sell it to the highest sponsor. They KNOW how limited spaces are in these clinical trails, but will probe everyone they possibly can for their info.

They get a paltheora of calls for eager volunteers. How else are they suppose to make all that time on the phone worth while? By flirting with the idea with people that that MAY qualify or that they are ALTERNATES instead.

Don't make me laugh. I played phone tag with these clowns and answered more questions than I should of, only for them to get hung up on a question two conversations ago. Forget it. Fortrea knows how they want to run their BUISNESS and they DO NOT have your best interest in mind.

Edit: Your former parent company, Labcorp, is being sued. This is for allowing Google to collect patient data for commercial use. Now I know why my suspicions were right. No, I will not call or send an email.

The Jig

Awesome staff. Very professional, and good people. Has multiple private shower rooms that accommodate one person each. Has separate multiple private bathrooms that also accommodate one person each. The sleeping areas are dorm style, with about five beds per room and four to five people staying in each room, depending on the size of the trial group you're in. The beds are hospital beds and are adjustable, but do not have curtains around them for privacy. Each bed has a night stand next to it, with a top drawer that study participants can request the key for - to lock up important belongings such as wallet, ID, jewelry, etc. The clinic serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, & a snack each day, catered from about 30 different local eateries. Unlike the other Fortrea locations, payment is via paper check at the Daytona Beach clinic, which can be picked up by the participant or mailed.

Between the years 2022 & 2023, I completed eleven healthy volunteer clinical trials, and my latest one was with Fortrea. I highly recommend Fortrea, and healthy volunteer clinical trials overall - particularly the high-paying ones such as the ones Fortrea offers. Be sure to drink lots of water prior to your screening visit, as well as leading up to your check-in date to participate in a trial. Also drink plenty of water while in the clinic, especially on the day of check-in. That gives you a better chance for your medicals to be in range, and gets a jump on things if you end up being informed that the nurses will need you to do a recheck later - which usually requires the participant to drink a lot of water leading up to the recheck. Meal replacement drinks such as Boost or Ensure are good to take leading up to screening and check-in, since they can make up for vitamins & minerals that may be lacking in your diet. Those drinks are not considered supplements, since they do not contain any ingredient that provides more that 100% of the recommended daily allowance for any vitamin or mineral.

Participating in healthy volunteer clinical trials is the best way I know to make thousands of dollars - and even well over five figures - in a relatively short period of time, which doesn't require needing a bunch of money to get started. If you're interested, just call in to Fortrea and recruiting will input your information into their database and match you up with a clinical trial (aka "clinical research study" - or "study" for short) that you can screen for. If you see a specific study or two on their website that you have interest in, write down the study number
