This place is horrible. Communication sucks. They don't follow up unless them seem you worthy 5 days before a study checks in. They're playing with people lives. Payments are always late. The staff have terrible bedside manner. LabCorp and Covance way hell of a lot better than what they got going on now. I hear drug test gets mixed up and there's no consequences to staff for major slip ups like that. The food is terrible and staff no call on weekends and we are fed late. Please go to other clinics and let this be your last resort. I've said enough I've been doing this for 4 years now.

*WARNING* This place NEEDS to be shut down! The worst place you could ever screen! Please be aware if you are traveling for screening they will waste your time and never give you the results of your blood work! I drove from San Antonio TX to screen for a trail and I've traveled all over the USA for clinical trails so this wasn't anything new to me. However the experience was so bad it's almost unbelievable! Normal screening takes about 4-6hrs but it took so much longer here. I screened on Dec 17th and didn't hear ANYTHING back until the Dec 30th and the only thing they called to say was they messed up on my blooswork and I needed to do a repeat. I went back for the repeat and I should have known better after the first time. Again no one called with any updates good or bad. I've called over and over again only to have them hang up on me! I've left message after message with no call back!!!!! Today is the 6th and no one has called me! I finally got through to someone today and they told me management would reach out to me in regards to check in tomorrow but NOTHING! PLEASE SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN! Fortrea Dallas is a joke and waste of time it's literally a day before my trail and no one could tell me if I got accepted or not! I called so many times it's crazy and still nothing DO NOT waste your time and travel here. I will not be participating in this trail or any others with Fortrea. I heard horrible stories about Fortrea Dallas from friends but I never thought it could be this bad. I can only imagine the chaos inside once admitted. Read other reviews the same thing!

I went to screen for a study on December 4th
Study was to start on December 30th never got called back to get informed why i was not chosen i kept calling them and no one would answer left several messages to get status and no one ever returned my calls. Finally got in touch with soneone by the name of Michelle on Friday December 27 and she stated would find out what status on my screening and get back, Well no one ever called me to inform me of anything, I get that not everyone gets picked to do studies but they should learn common curtesy and inform participants i took 4 hours of my time to go and get bloodwork ekg etc etc etc to try and get in the study. You should at least show some respect and call back and inform the participant why they did not qualify. This place keeps getting worse and worse ever since it changed from being covance

Payments are indeed late!One of the staff members gave me Covid during a recent study and I was penalized almost 2k…It was that or I was given an injection of Covid

Came in in mid December to take bloodwork etc. I took off work and wasted 4 hours of my day. I’ve called this place over and over and eft numerous voicemails only to never be called back. Why does nobody answer the phone at this establishment. I probably will never go back. This place is just getting worse and worse by the day. They can at least have the common courtesy to call people back and let them know why they were not chosen.

Seemed chaotic disorganized. Contradicting info. Girls and guys at intake downstairs were wonderful (why I left 3 stars) but once you get upstairs different world. First I wad told buy a male nurse everyone is dosing so I was relieved it wasn't wasted trip but then 2 hours later lady comes in snd stops my procedure to say we have enough. That is upsetting but it’s just part of it and I totally understand it happens. It’s the bedside manners of most nurses upstairs and they even talk shop and gossip about each other openly. I do studies full time and travel the country and this behavior is not the norm. It seemed icky there too more like a stinky jail. Along with the signs hung everywhere warning everyone don't dare ask about getting paid until it’s bern 14 days since checking out. Like wow. Felt really appreciated seeing these. The longest I have ever waited is three days for a payment to post at all other clinical research places. Since I spent 1 night as an alternate I was to receive a payment, which again to compare the amount to others for alternate pay it’s significantly lower. Almost half. Almost the amount you would be paid for screening which most places do but not Fortrea. Upon leaving I took a chance to ask about when to expect payment thinking surely the 14 day signs are for rare cases that a banking issue arises. Nope, she quickly snapped “IF” I enter it next few days then buy Thurs Fri. I said this Thursday Friday. She said no next. That is incredible. That is the slowest turnaround I have received from any establishment even retail stores waiting for a return. Just a bad experience that left me feeling taking advantage of not appreciated and at times not in good care. If the valued the volunteers I think policies could improve. Oh and they are also the only remaining place that enforces mandatory masks. Food is real real bad. Think jail food might be better. I mean yeah sigh

Good place could start doing pay cards like other test study places like PPD and whoever else that would be better for all participants to received money for a study they are chosen to be in

U was in a trial and my grandma passed away so I had to leave first they were rude and mad talked to me like they had never lost anyone which made me not want to stay for check out then ran me down in the parking lot to inform me that I could never participate in a trial again.
I was already going through stuff and to be embarrassed in the parking lot was alot
I hope someone sues them for the treatment of the people who volunteer to help
