This office is the worst so ineffective at any given day you can expect to have at least a 30 to 45 minutes. Wait to pay a bill not to mention I believe they’re ripping me off as it relates to my billing… community sucks.

The old adage if you don’t have anything good to say don’t say anything is usually my motto when it comes to reviews, but NOT in this case. If I could give a zero rating that is what I would do. I appreciate the hard work of the employees of FPUA, but the Customer Service Department leaves much to be desired. After waiting on hold for over 20 minutes and finally getting a representative on the phone, I had a series of issues to address. Instead of making sure each issue was handled properly, I was told he had other customers to attend to which is code for your issues are not that important. Especially since the reason for my call was due to the negligence of their system in the first place, I was further incensed. Please work on improving your Customer Service and I will gladly revise this review.

Before you move to an area make sure FPUA is not the only provider, because trust me if I knew them before I bought my half mil house I wouldn’t have bought it in the first place and I would’ve ran as far as I can. Also I have tried many times filing a complain against them and the city of fort pierce but I guess they control everything and the only way for me is to sue them.

I've been trying for a week to pay my bill on my phone and it's been a nightmare.They either say my card is expired( it's not) or they can't find my account, even though they've found it previously.I still haven't got it paid and I'm afraid I'll get my electricity shut off. I had it set up on easy pay, then they said the same thing, my card was expired ( it wasn't) It's the worst payment system I have ever dealt with.

Would leave 0 stars if I could. $280 MINIMUM deposit for not even a same day power turn on. Absolutely insane. Sucks that this is the only option in Fort Pierce. FPL is way better!

I really hate fort pierce utility is the only option to have when needing lights. They don’t care about the people of fort pierce, and they don’t even do same day turn on. Just stupid! And out right wrong in my eyes! I really pray for this place to go under new management and have better service for the city. Because this is BullS. 🤮 how do you stay open to take payments , but can’t come out and turn folks lights back on when we need them the most !? Especially during the storm. Just don’t understand people and what we go through🤦🏽‍♀️

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Since moving to the area I have never been happy with the service this company provides. Power going out during thunderstorms sometimes just normal rain, slow response times and unprofessional attitudes when calling over then phone to customer service, can’t service you outside of 9am to 5pm, the bill is always high even in the winter. If there were other options available in this area I’m certain this company would’ve gone under long ago, anyone with options would not put up with this consistent low level of service.

Power is always off I have to call them about 5-7 times a month our power cut off n on all the time not only that the woman who we sat with while setting up our power wouldn't put the power in my name because she ran my name and my husbands name and said we had to put it in his name because he had an out standing bill of 2,400 from his X partner some how put power in his name online with him knowing n wouldn't give us power unless it was paid in full or a payment plan was set up.. so 3,000 later and nothing issues here I am sitting on the phone 1st thing trying to to get our power on because once again it off and we have zero balance been with them for since Oct 2023 I will be making a complaint I want my money back charges should have been pressed against his X and she refused me when it was my 1st time buying home so I'll be up there son as possible
