Beach was beautiful but the chair situation not very good. Have to wait in line to get a chair . Umbrellas are an extra cost . Don’t agree with being charged for an umbrella when you’re paying the money you do to stay here. Pools are beautiful but extremely crowded and loud. |Our room in the Tresor tower needs to be renovated. Carpets old and dirty. Although the room itself was cleaned well it looked quite old. |Staff in this resort definitely not what you would expect in a resort of this caliber. Not very polite and not very helpful.|I will ask that the housekeeping staff was very polite .|Prices of everything in this resort are really overpriced. Two salads cost us almost $100. |Only 2 out of 4 elevators were working and we were told by other guests that has been the case for the last two months. When you’re spending this kind of money, you certainly don’t expect to be wasting half your time waiting for elevators.|The restaurant Hakasan was excellent, and I would return to that restaurant again. Although the server was very cold, perhaps in the wrong line of work.|Don’t think I would recommend or return.

The hotel was phenomenal. Had the pleasure of meeting Malik who provided personable, hospitable and memorable service at the beach every single day. You could feel the level of care from day 1 and I asked to be sat in his section every day after that. He anticipated my needs and was a genuine warm person. Dominique and Xavier were also incredible! I can’t wait to return. New favorite place in Miami!

This place still exudes iconic destination with an unparalleled pool area in Miami Beach, stunning beachfront access, and great dining—Côte Bar’s food was fresh and delicious, and breakfast was spectacular. However, service was inconsistent—check-in took too long despite a late arrival with few guests waiting, and valet was slow, taking 20-30 minutes each time while prioritizing non-guest club-goers. The pool and beach were understaffed, though the bar staff was as attentive as ever. While the experience was overall enjoyable, more staffing and better service is needed to avoid frustration. We’d return, hoping for a more seamless experience next time, but there are so many other great resort options nearby without the outsized price tag.

We have to say, as a company that provides considerate services, this hotel deserves over 5 stars for excellent customer service. We have a client that stays there regularly that we provide Exotic Rental Cars to. (Valet) showed up in a big way. Taking the time to rectify an issue when the car light stayed on over night. They were very patient and stayed with us until it got started. A couple hours later we called and asked if the vehicle is had started yet. They went down started the vehicle and sent us a video. Talk about attention to detail. We will definitely bring our clients here. We appreciate your hard work.

Too many strikes to be great and too expensive to be good. 1) In room amenities aren’t great, biggest problem was no in room coffee maker or fridge. 2) The beach scene is real lame. They block the ocean view from most chairs by putting day beds along the shore that cost $500. Literally you can’t see the ocean and you’re sitting on the beach. 3) In room dining was really bad. We ordered 3 separate times and 2 were mediocre, 1 was awful. 4) they make you wear wrist bands on the weekends like you’re at a theme park. 5) It’s freezing cold in the hotel. 6) A smoothie there is 25$ 7) it’s setup to be a vegas maze that forces you to walk past shops and restaurants. Takes 3 times longer to get anywhere in the hotel 8) service is not their forte. At an expensive hotel I expect good service.

We recently stayed at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach for seven nights, and overall, it was an impressive experience. The hotel is a landmark with a rich history—famous movies like Goldfinger, The Bodyguard, and Bad Boys II were filmed here, and legendary stars like Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and Dean Martin have all been part of its past. During our stay, David Guetta was performing at LIV Night Club, adding to the vibrant atmosphere, though we did not attend. The infrastructure of the hotel is excellent, with beautiful pools, direct beach access, and a glamorous setting that truly feels special.||However, be prepared for additional costs everywhere. Almost everything comes with an extra fee, including beach umbrellas and most seating areas around the pool (except standard sun loungers). The breakfast buffet costs around $55 per person, including taxes and service charges, and a simple dinner for two with just two beers can easily reach $150. The spa prices are particularly high—$100 per person on weekdays and $200 on weekends, offering only a warm swimming pool, a steam room, and a rain shower.||Additionally, the entire hotel is very loud and crowded, making it difficult to truly relax. The swimming pool area, while visually stunning, is more of a party scene than a place to unwind. In general, compared to Europe, you get half the service for double the price.||While the Fontainebleau is worth visiting for its history and lively atmosphere, the high extra costs and constant noise made it a one-time experience for us. Seven nights here were enough to enjoy the iconic setting but also realize that relaxation is not the focus of this hotel.

I want to call out a couple of people who absolutely have the personality, the drive, the attention to detail, and the connection to guests that truly make an experience memorable. The fountainbleau has everything to be wonderful, but the people absolutely are the ones that make that happen.

VIDA/BLADE RESTAURANTS:

MERICHELLE was the hardest staff member I saw fighting the daily crowds during spring break. As the director of first impressions, she has a very difficult task in managing long lines, guests expectations, while still making a personal connection. She does it brilliantly even when the role doesn't have a way to be truly thanked. I let her know know that she was noticed each and every day and that the way she chooses to approach her role is truly awesome.

ISAAC: Isaac is a real joy to not only meet but get to talk with. He makes the experience feel comfortable while also not missing any part that can make your time there more profound. It was great to see him again and pick up where we left off. Thank you, Isaac, and have a great year ahead.

POOL GROUNDS:

ENGLISH is a man who understands not to take life too seriously while understanding that each person has a way to make an impact, and better yet, a way to remember an experience. He is charismatic, funny, witty, and yet still doesn't have anything ever get past him that he doesn't notice. He has two beautiful children and loves his family and the opportunities he gets to be a part of.

HAKKASAN:

GISELLE: Giselle stepped up and really made sure that our last night became possible the way we hoped. She obviously easily connects with guests while managing how to effectively run the restaurant the right way.

ALINA: The highlight of the trip was not only getting to experience Hakkasan but also getting lucky to meet and talk with Alina. Not only did she know the restaurant in and out and helped us design how best to create our meal... but she did so in the most likable ways. Not only did we get to learn more about Alina and her life, but she also took just the same interest in us. Everyone can choose hundreds of places to get a great meal, but often we forget the food taste in a short time. But when you get to enjoy a night led by someone who knows you are there to create a lasting memory, Alina and the way she goes about herself stands out in the most incredible ways. I am sure the entire team at Hakkasan knows that about her, and she must make everyone feel that much more comfortable to be a part of the establishment. Thanks, Alina, and you won't be forgotten. 😀

Used the spa and was a relaxing experience. Then we used the pool facilities and had the greatest service (English) and didn’t have to lift a finger for anything. English was proactive, professional and made our day extra special. Thanks for a great day and please know that your staff is a huge reason why people return and spend money so treat them well!
