Good software, here's my full assessment:
(I've used EL for 3+yrs)
Pros:
- well thought out and laid out
- easy to use on a day to day basis
- does most everything needed in an RV business

Cons:
- Cannot do different tax rates for different items (there are some items that have a 10.25% tax and the majority have 6.75%, and I have to generate invoices in QuickBooks to charge the former, I can't use EverLogic for this)
- One of the reports for trailer sales are not correct (counting the purchase price of trailers that have a trade twice in the same report) and when contacted their answer was "that's how the report is designed" and we'll get back to you. It was not fixed, making the report useless. (Vehicles Sold Report)
- cannot be used if renting trailers or having an RV park (we have to run separate software for this)
- periodic updates are not tested thoroughly and cause problems. The latest one broke the closing documents for trailer sales. To their credit, their tech support fixed it immediately when reported but it was a headache when I had a customer sitting in my office and I sold a trailer, trying to get the closing documents. Thankfully, it still worked on another computer that had not received the update and I was able to get the documents printed.
- there are several journal entries in QB for trailer sales to get everything balanced.
- cannot close/post a trailer sale until the repair orders are closed out - this is a problem on a new unit when warranty work is done and we are waiting on payment from the warranty company. You cannot put warranty work "On Account" and close the RO. Sometimes they remain open for more than a month while waiting for payment.
- we cannot take a unit that is(was) in for service and add it to inventory if I purchase the trailer or it's traded in. You have to re-create the trailer in your sales inventory. This creates two service record histories for the unit.

Other than those 7 items its a solid 4 star product.

We have used them in the past at another dealership, and they were great then. We decided to go with them again at our new storage and repair business, and same as the first time they have been extremely helpful.

The implementation went smooth and everyone we speak with is very knowledgeable about the software and are prompt to respond to any questions we have.

After using SYS2K, IDS, G2 and other management software products I couldn't see going back to anything other than Everlogic.

EverLogic has really helped us on track out deals better and to keep track of the parts and service. It has also helped with the accounting department. I have used the customer service, and it has been helpful especially Kelly she has been terrific. Kelly has help me so much with EL, I appreciate the customer service help and Kelly for the way she helps and is so cheery she makes me feel like I am important to the company.
