Shrimp Acapulco salad , chips salsa take out cheese burger was delicious ? Food is great ? good service, great prices, extra friendly. I only wish they offered delivery ? beautiful art work. Very colorful

We were excited to try this based on reviews and local recommendations. The salsa was so bland and had no flavor. They were out of spicy salsa. Cheese deep was just basic blanco cheese, again no spice or flavor. Our meal was ok, nothing special. I had the nachos and it was some lightly seasoned beef with cheese melted over a chip. Saving grace was the guac and I got some jalapenos on the side. Service was fantastic so that was a good thing. Not sure I would call this Tex-Mex or Mexican food though. Also, remember this is a dry county so no margaritas.

The food is absolutely spectacular!! The service has drastically fallen. The servers used to be so polite and courteous, but they have became inexplicably rude. They work for tips, and as a former server/bartender there's no way I would behave that way. My one and only complaint, as far as the food, is that I can no longer order flour chips!!? I genuinely offered a ridiculous amount of money and was still denied them!! Heart breaking, thankfully the steak fajitas were great, and made up for it.

We chose this spot based on reviews. Outstanding all the way around. The menu was colorful and pro all the way .The food was absolutely delicious. I know because I'm from Houston. ...where texmex is king.

Not busy, nice and quiet. Server was attentive and prompt. Staff had great attitude making the experience amazing. Food was hot and delicious and served quickly and to order. My family has some allergy issues and all were accommodated without question. The rellano sent me back to how grandma used to make it. Excellent job and great time highly recommend this restaurant.

Wow, we are up in Mt. Ida on vacation from Texas, and wanted some good food. We were blown away by the flavors, the service and the value! I wish this place was home in Austin - 5 stars for everything- see ya next year!

We are regulars but the last two times eating my order there it has been awful. The orders have been wrong and the last time instead of new food on a new plate, the food was just switched to a different plate- how hard is it to leave beans off the plate! I brought the matter to the waitress's attention and no compensation was taken even though it was not correct or eatable. We eat out a lot and will spend our money elsewhere!! Dont go to this restaurant unless you are ok with it just as it says on the menu. Don't expect to be able to have it the way you want it.

Who would've thought that this small town would be serving some of the best Mexican food I've ever had! We stopped in Mount Ida for a day on our way to Kansas City from Houston and this restaurant was one of the few options we had in the area. We really did not have any expectations from this place but walking into the restaurant, we were quite pleasantly surprised! The ambiance and decor of this restaurant was just so friendly and pleasing to the eye! And our server was very friendly and accommodating. I got the carne asada and was overwhelmed by the portion of the food for the price that I paid for it. The food lasted me for three meals! For dessert, we shared a plate of sopapillas that really elevated the whole experience because it was that good. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.
