their policies and requirement for approved service providers hurts homeowners and limits their options to only those who are "approved" allowing those service providers to monopolize the market and charge homebuyers and homeowners whatever they want because it's such a small market. If you're looking for assistance programs, instead consider CalHFA or GSFA (Golden State Finance Authority) who do not allow service providers to have such a monopolization on the marketplace. This agency, at face value, exists to help homebuyers and homeowners, but their policies and restrictions hurt them in the long run.
