Let me start by saying that we love Fort Pierce. We moved here a few years ago and enjoy living here. Although it is small, it's one of the oldest cities on the east coast of Florida with beautiful architecture. The downtown is clean, the people are nice and friendly. There are festivals and different community events going on all the time. There is a library right by the water and many nice restaurants. It's definitely worth visiting!

Downtown Fort Pierce is my SPOT! The restaurants are nice, and there are cool local businesses strewn throughout. Even with no money, you can go to the library, sit by the water, watch schools of fish swimming, or take a nice walk from Melody Pier to the Seaway Bridge.

Outstanding place to visit the only thing you need to be aware of is the amount of homeless people that have grown more in the last couple of years. They never bothered me so I kind of feel ok going there.
