Where do I begin. This has to be the most incompetent computer repair place ever.

1st I was told they would have an answer within 3 days. Which was a Saturday. Day came and went no communication. So due to my schedule I waited until Tuesday to reach out. Andrew gave me the run around about it being a bad hard drive. But he wanted to check one more thing. It was always one more thing. Finally go to pick it up and he said he was able to do a better deal for me so I was like ok great! But when I asked for the old hard drive back he did his little song and dance. That’s when I got really suspicious because right there on the bench was my hard drive. With a sticker on it that says format. He said no he didn’t think that was it. So I left. But it didn’t set well with me and I sent Andrew a text that I wanted that hard drive and that he was giving me the runaround.? He was angry in his response to me but set a day I could pick the hard drive up.

The next day the hard drive he put in started falling. Sent him a screenshot, no response.

Finally after I had cooled down I reached out to him again to get my computer fix. He told me to bring it by Saturday at 11. Well 11 came and went so I waited a bit and sent a text. No response. I waited an hour, no show. Therefore this review.

Do not trust this guy as far as you can throw him. Oh and my original hard drive was 1 terabytes and the new hard drive he installed for me is half of that. And the receipt was very unprofessional also. If I can I’ll find it a take a picture.

Be safe from scams like this!!!!

I have used this business multiple times over the past several years. Each time I have been more than pleased with Andrew's speed, turning my computers around in a couple of days, his excellent communication with me during the process and his incredible fair pricing. I highly recommend this local business if you are looking for someone to just clean up your computer, remove viruses or even do big fixes! They also sold me an amazing refurbished laptop 2 years ago that is still running like it is brand new!

So Google will only let me write one review... Who knew I wanted to add another review. I recently used Community Computer services again. I spilled coffee all over my key board - total disaster!! Key board needed replaced but my computer was old. Decided to buy a reconditioned computer from Andrew. He set me up with a great computer and downloaded everything from my old one. He set it up perfect - easy transition. So very thankful!! He really does a great job.

old review - 7 months ago - I know enough to be dangerous when it comes to computers. Community Computer Services have helped me out on mult occasions. When I clicked on the wrong link (yikes), when my computer kept turning off in the middle of things ( needed a battery LOL) and when I wanted to back things up (pics/documents) but did not know how (hooked me up with an external hard drive and taught me how to use it). They are helpful, kind, affordable and meet me at my level. I trust them.

Andrew is very responsive to all of my questions and provided me with a computer set-up within 48 hours of my request, at a good value. When I call with follow-up questions, he is responsive and makes me feel as though I am the most important customer that he has. This kind of service is difficult to find and most welcome.

My computer quit working just as my wife was in the middle of using it for Vacation Bible School last night. She was panicking. I began to look online and saw Community Computers near where I live. I checked the reviews and it had a great rating. I called this morning and explained my situation. I was told to bring my laptop in and he would see what he could do. When I took it in I also shared with him another issue I had been experiencing, my wireless connection was not working . He said he would really try to find out the issue so we would have it for Bible School. About 2 1/2 hours later he called to give the good news that the problem was just a bad cord. When picking it up he also told me he gave it a good checking over and tried to repair my non wireless connection for over an hour. He then told me instead of trying to go into the laptop to change a chip which could be costly, he sent me to Staples for a solution of a $30.00 wireless adapter. I was very impressed with my experience Community Computers. I would encourage anyone who has computer issues to check them out. You will not be disappointed. Also, the price I paid was very reasonable.

So far, it hasn't been that great. I took a laptop in almost 2 weeks ago and haven't heard back from them. When I went in to drop it off, it was like they were getting ready to go out of business. The young guy who took my laptop said he would call me and hasn't yet. I know that we have had 2 weeks of holidays, but other businesses are open again. He made sure he got my $45 first though. I'm surprised by all of this, because I've gotten great service when the father was there.
In this guy's response, he says that he can't get a hold of me. What he fails to mention is that he wrote my number down wrong and didn't check his caller ID from when I called last Monday or when I left a message the week before. I left a message last week and he never called me back then either. When he did finally found my number, he chewed me out for everything. He never confirmed anything about the computer, yet acts like he did. So my number is not out of service, but I will not be a customer of theirs again.

Community Computer Services provides a great services at affordable prices. Over the past 5 years I have had to replace lap top hardware and treat viruses. Every time the knowledgeable team at Community Computer Services has provided fast diagnostics with a menu of solutions for me to choose from.
