From start to finish I was blown away by the service at CHOC. We were transferred in from St. Francis hospital. The nurses and doctors were so attentive and kept us up to speed on everything. We had so much confidence that our son would be taken cared of. We were so confident that we rested couple days at home because the nurses took care of our son like it was their own child. Dr Sinha gave me a drawing of what is going on and what surgical procedure they were going to operate. I had such confidence in the doctors to do the job. My son was carefully monitored and taken cared of. We were at CHOC for a time period of about 3 weeks. Was impressed by the security as well. They were very observant and they made sure no unnecessary visitors would go through. Thank you so much to everyone at CHOC! Keep up the great work!

Today, we checked in with the CHOC in LaVeta to see if there have been any improvements in how they interact with patients. To be honest, there have been positive changes. The staff is more courteous with patients, and the waiting time for consultation has been reduced.

The nurse on that day is super nice and patient. 10 stars for her. Doctors did a great job of checking on patient.

However, after 10 days on antibiotics, my child's teeth have turned yellow. I wish the doctors had informed parents about these side effects and provided advice on how to minimize the harmful effects of antibiotics.

On behalf of my daughter and our family, I want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone at CHOC. From the moment the ambulance arrived, the staff was incredibly kind and professional, which made such a difference during a challenging time. My daughter especially loved watching a movie on the iPad during the transfer – it really helped put her at ease.

The doctors and nurses were super friendly and professional, patiently addressing all our questions and concerns. We happened to arrive on Halloween, and the thoughtful little gift really brightened her day. Thank you for every gesture, from her favorite sandwich and juice to the warm care you showed us all. We’re so grateful for the amazing care and compassion CHOC provides.

The doctor at CHOC (thin, maybe Persian or Arabic?) saw my son for 5 minutes and said he was fine. My son was taken to another urgent care a few days later and diagnosed with beta coronavirus and strep.

And then CHOC sent me a bill for 900$ despite doing zero tests on my son. What a joke. Stay away from here. Also, you have to pay for parking. This is a BUSINESS, NOT a medical establishment.

My 6 year old daughter had eye surgery here and I just want to say how amazing this hospital is! All the staff was great. Hospital was super clean and spacious. The bathrooms were heated actually. While my daughter waited for the surgery there was brand new Play-Doh and activities for her bedside to do. The nurses were on top of it. Such a great experience!

Waited in the lobby about 3hrs to get called back and be sat in a cubicle with no privacy another 3hrs . Nurses passing by laughing so loud. This hospital should be closed down of how bad it is . Disappointed completely by it all my Daugther was having so much pain that she looked at me and said mom take me home and we can see my pcp tomorrow I will push through the pain. Just horrible

This is the longest I've ever waited inside an emergency in my life. I brought my 5 year old in who was running a high temperature. Over 6 hour wait i wouldn't recommend this place at all and some of the staff was also rude.
