I just called less than 5 minutes ago due to having issues getting through to reemployment. As I'm trying to explain what I am trying to do she cuts m off without hearing everything I'm trying to relay and just transfers me to reemployment line. How can you help people or provide assistance when you're not ACTIVELY LISTENING to what it is they need. 'all just hire anybody . Please DO better!

My experience at this place has been absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and everyone there is incredibly friendly. Initially, I popped in seeking advice on my resume, but unfortunately, the career advisor I wanted to see wasn't available. However, they didn't leave me hanging – instead, they introduced me to this incredible program that's all about helping folks like me find great jobs while offering grants for education. Talk about a game-changer! I was blown away by the support available. With so many programs to choose from, I realized I didn't need to pursue a costly Master's degree and drown in debt. Whether you're in between jobs or simply need some career guidance, I highly recommend giving this place a visit! Ms. Holly, Al, and Robert are not only super nice but also incredibly understanding. They'll go above and beyond to assist you in any way they can. And let me tell you, Careersource is a goldmine of resources – don't miss out on tapping into them!

Had an mandatory appointment dealing with applying for food stamps here at 9 am, front desk staff were rude and unhelpful. Looked like we were bothering them when we came in like most careersource centers I been to. Got turned away because they said the person who deal with it only comes in the afternoon despite the website we applied with said we can come in at 9 am. Clearly this system doesn't work and this was a mandatory step.

My parents came in today and meet with Davis. He was very aggressive and rude to them. Did not give clear directions and proceeded to get upset with them when the paperwork was done incorrectly. He was impatient and spoke to them in a demeaning manner.

He spoke poorly about the type of people that walk into the center.

This is a difficult time in our lives and they were met with disrespect and disregard.

My parents spent 4 hours there and left with nothing processed. They chose to leave because my mom was near tears with the way they were being treated.

Hopefully he was simply having a bad day & isn’t like this all the time because I hope nobody never gets treated like this again.

I went on Friday Nov 10th and unfortunately for me, I didn't know that they were closed in observance of Veterans Day. So I really have no; info, data, feedback, opinions, notions or anything else to present to yous guys at this time. I do plan on returning on Monday Nov 13th. It was very clean and accessible. Luna who is there to assist was very helpful and knowledgeable about the filing process. If it wasn't for her, I would still be stuck in limbo!!!

For starters, the place hires uneducated and low skilled people. How are they supposed to encourage, motivate and help people that have recently lost their job or the long term unemployed.
They provide classes on resume writing, dressing professionally, job searching, networking. All these sources can be found a places like your local college (if you attended)or the local library.
What they offered me:
Job links or job descriptions to open positions. While on site I actually saw the person who is my counselor literally go to the internet, copy several job description and put it in an email for me and press send. What a tough job they have....
It is now more than 6 months that I've looked for work and still unemployed. This company business model seems to function like this: get money from government to offer unemployed "services", hold several resume workshops, networking events and offer a computer lab to improve technical skills. Hire old, unskilled, low paying employees on front line while directors, executives and whatnot think of more ways to milk the government for more grants/funding and not offer any real ROI (return on investment). I swear of you need help with job searching or skill building i would be more help then career source. I've logged 100's of hours for me personal impertinent.
Maybe I'm bias in my review but i just experienced and felt the environment could have been more positive, resources used more effectively and with their "preferred " employers i could have had a job by now.
