Overall this place desperately needs an overhaul in leadership and management. Far fewer problems would occur, with much less turnover if they would only train their employees and teach their management valuable skills like the 7 habits or one of the many many other widely available and inexpensive leadership programs. Treating people as actual people goes a long way.

Spouse worked here and was absolutely miserable. He was hired through elwood staffing which intentionally did not warn us about the mandatory overtime. The people have been rude, ignorant, and cruel to not only my husband, but most of the employees. The lines are always broken, and they don't do anything to properly fix them, so employees are left standing around with nothing to do, and aren't allowed on their phones. They can also reassign you to graveyard shift at any time without warning, which was horrendous. 12 hour night shifts, up to 5 days a week. Please don't work here! It isn't worth it.

i was sent by elwood staffing as temp and worked here for a week and a half, worst place i have ever worked. on my first day i was put in a room with one other person who spoke english they did not train me or show me how to do nothing and then proceeded to yell at me for packing the bags wrong. i made one mistake on my second day and a lady named lisa was very rude about it. the women in my group then sat and talked crap on me in spanish for the mistake i made and made it very obvious. on sunday night they texted me and told me not to come in and to turn my badge in due to “performance” i wish i would have read the reviews on this place before i wasted my time.

Worked thier for maybe around 4 months in Blending. It's a dirty job that can be at times hard labor pending on what job you do. Many people feel unappreciated for thier work and in some cases sacrifices they make for the company. I quit for a number of reasons combined.
1. The job is dirty, can even stain your skin & cloths.
2. It can be hard labor
3. Pay is not enough to provide a family ($20hr).
4. Company is known to have employees work over 7 days in a row. (Witch is illegal) unless voluntary.
5. I provided the company with many suggestions on what they are doing wrong and how to make things better. Not one recommendation out of atleast one page did they apply. This shows they are prideful, not willing to admit when they are wrong. They are a company that views thier employees as the problem not themselves based on what I have seen.
6. Steps for jobs are often skipped. For example things should be dry and clean before starting another job in a room.
7. Employees will selfishly take the company tools for themselves (keep them). And let the rest of the crew struggle more than they should to do thier jobs due to not having the right tools.
8. Some people like to rush. This can lead to mistakes and people getting hurt. I don't care much for working with people like this.
9. I gave the company more than enough time to try and fix the companies issues. And even for them to show thier appreciation.
10. They have a high turn over rate.
11. Safety issues. People are put in positions where they could fall 40-50ft due to using step ladders along rails they could fall over. Also people have to lean through the rails in order to put the lids on the blenders.
12. I'm not sure, but I believe some leaders for the company unjuslty prevented me from possible promotions. Possibly due to jealousy or not wanting me to be thier boss. I'm a good worker, I staybusy, and I'm a strong Christian.
All of these things combined I new thier was no future for me at Capstone Nutrition. Hope this review helps you decide on if this company is right for you.

I worked on the manufacturing floor for about a few months and trust me when I tell you it is absolutely the worst place I’ve EVER worked. Terrible experience. Blatant favoritism, the managers AND HR treat the workers horribly. Force them to work extra hours, with threats of termination. And trust me when I tell you if you get hired on and want to work a job where you’re treated like a robot, work here. Also, if you happen to get hired on under George Lomeli, find a different job or switch to a different shift. He was horrible and very disrespectful to several women working there. Place is absolutely horrible, incredible amounts of disrespect. A bunch of control freaks with systems that don’t work together at all. I’ve worked shoulder to shoulder with some of the sweetest and hardworking people and even they agreed with me.

I completely agree with the other review from Michelle. Very high turnover here and either nonexistent training or very little training.
Capstone partners with 3 or 4 employment agencies. Tells you they go through a lot of people that either quit or get fired.
Capstone management needs more understanding, patience and much better training. Takes a while to put on and take off all the required PPE.
Please avoid working here. Hope everyone that works here finds a better job and company.

Got hired as a full time employee and on my first full night my back got hurt and their response was to fire me without ever even making sure I was okay. This was back in October and honestly by back is still giving me trouble. I haven’t been able to recover from losing this job and have been really screwed by them even bothering to be a little empathetic. Don’t waste your time trying to get a job here.

I've been at Capstone 10+ years. It's been great a place for me. I've had many opportunities. It's not a perfect place to work, but they are always thinking about how to make it a best-in-class place to work and how to improve. They have won some awards for being good at manufacturing and their work environment.

It's busy and it's fast-paced. They are growing so you can volunteer for OT hours on the weekends and evenings. I feel like employees are treated with respect and work as a team on projects. It's a super-clean and friendly workplace.

This is just an opinion. If you work here and they ask you to share your thoughts or opinion, keep your thoughts to yourself. Remember, if you are thinking about it, someone thought it too but learned not to share them openly.

Whatever you think of this company, it is true. Your opinion is your observed reality specially your gut feeling. If you want a good laugh, watch "The Dungeon of Black Company", you'll at least feel at home and be greatful that you have a job. Oh and you cannot change anything until you dig deep and change yourself first.
