We hopped on around 6:15 for our 6:30 Holiday Lights Trolly Ride. They took us up and down the main streets of town, showing off all the beautifully decorated houses. The christmas lights were absolutely beautiful.

Our tour guide was great. She was wonderful at knowing the balance between keeping it fun, yet factual and interesting. They do have a microphone so you should be able to hear her from any part of the trolly.

The trolly itself was brand new and probably sat about 30/35 or so people, although we only had about 20. The seats were spacious and comfortable.

Overall, it was a great experience. We'd be interested in doing another type of trolly tour at some point. We've gone on many and this one has been the best. The driver was great, extremely safe, and very hardworking. (Someone threw up before leaving for the tour so he had to clean it all up as they ran out of the bus and weren't seen again)

We attended the National Ice Cream Day event. They provided free ice cream samples - delicious and perfect for a hot summer day.

Inside was an exhibit all about ice cream. It was fun and pretty cool. Outside this beautiful building were signs with historical facts.

our trolley tour was called “ WELCOME TO CAPE MAY TROLLEY TOURS”. our tour guide was Ellie and our driver was Ed. Ellie and Ed were the best, we had so much fun on our trolley ride. Ellie was so knowledgeable. we been to Cape May so many times yet we learned so much we didn’t know. thank you Ellie and Ed for a fantastic afternoon!!

We went on the trolley tour and toured the Emlen Physick Estate.

It was a very nice tour. It is a great way to learn about Cape May.

The trolley tour guide was very knowledgeable about Cape May history and lore. It was extremely enjoyable.

The tour guide at the estate was equally knowledgeable about Cape May history. She provided context for all the exhibits in the Physick house.

It is definitely a must do! We had plenty of time to explore the square too!

It was a great experience to see the inside of the homes during the Candlelight Home Tours. First time for us. Trolley shuttles are open air, so just a little cold last night. Make sure you dress warm. Had a nice time. Busy, a lot of people, so start on time. Just a few shots from the evening we enjoyed. Thank you, Cape May MAC and those that opened their homes to us visitors! Each with it's own unique atmosphere and story which they were happy to share with us all.

We were there for the candlelight house tour on the same weekend as the Christmas parade. Lines are incredibly long. Figure maybe getting into 5 homes if well planned. Houses were beautiful, town well decorated.

Cape May, New Jersey is a must see. Our nation’s oldest seaside resort. Families have been vacationing there for generations. The old historic homes,beautiful beaches and amazing restaurants. Cira 1823. Great for family reunions.

I have been coming to Cape May for more than 20 years and I am always a supporter of what MAC does. But I am beyond pissed off and disappointed in what happened tonight. I ordered tickets to the holiday lights tour in November and when we showed up for the trolley there were only 2 seats. I paid for 4. The guy driving the trolley said well 2 can go. I said no and they did give me a refund but I am so angry that they would be so careless about who is getting on their trolleys. Do better!
