They came to inspect and said they couldn't even look in my attic or crawl space because the openings were too small according to their rules. I spent $200 on lumber to reinforce and widen my attic opening, cut a 2ftx2ft hole in my floor and reinforced that so they had access to that. When they came to install a door and weatherstripping, I told them we had fixed the openings, they then said the floor was bouncy so they wouldn't do insulation under it, it's a raised foundation with original hardwood floors and a subfloor with carpet. They had initially told my brother I needed insulation in my attic but then told myself and my mom that I didn't need any when we asked. I only signed up for the program because I needed help with insulation. It seems they use arbitrary rules to avoid doing any insulation work. They also took apart my water heater door to install vents and didn't put it back together correctly so now I'll have to spend more money to fix that. I appreciate the weatherstripping but I am not happy about the additional work and money I spent for nothing. If they don't want to do insulation, they should just say that. Before and after they added 2 vents to my door. They put the door back together wrong, it's crooked, both vents are not centered, one is off to the right and the other is off to the left. They also took my original 1930s hardwood front door without telling me that they would. They never said anything about if they put up a new door, that they had to take the old one. I had just put it up the day before they came. I would have never agreed to them putting up a louver door if they had said they had take my original door. I didn't realize they had taken until 2 weeks later and by then they said they had thrown it away. This service has been more of a pain in the ass than helpful. Be cautious and watch them like hawks if you do decide to use them.

The worst company ever they opened all my outlets and they did not put them back together the way they’re supposed to be , I called the supervisor. Her name is Monica. I also spoke to Donna and they denied The work that they did in my house. I do not recommend this company to anybody think about it twice before you have anybody going to your house to try to repair things that are not even broken just so they can get a paycheck. This company is the worst.

Bright Ideas is the company scheduled to check and insulate the inside my home against weather and to save electricity.
Workmen Joshua and Mathew
arrived on time and explained what they proposed.
Sounds good I said and worked began. After completing the work, all before lunch the doors and windows were insulated and energy efficient lighting fixtures replaced some of the outdated ones I had.
I am impressed with Bright Ideas
and more so the workmen
Joshua and Mathew.

Do not believe that false advertisement!!
My elderly grandpa thought he was getting new toilets and waited all day for the technicians. They were a no show and when I tried to call the number provided it was disconnected. The website is no longer available and the Facebook page looks fake. The employees listed no contact information.

Do not let them in your house without getting what they promise in writing! Bad workmanship and even worse customer service! They promised my parents ( 80+) a refrigerator and swamp coolers and attic insulation and nothing. Beware!!!!
