Absolutely gorgeous end of the island! Bathrooms and buildings were still closed but there is a trailer bathroom available. Lots of shells to look for, easy swimming and fun to watch the boats in and out of the harbor. Fantastic for dolphin and sea life watching! Parking is limited however, hang around near the entrance of the parking lot and someone will leave- the pay was easy with QR scan and is only a dollar and hour! Parking is around back of the buildings, to the right of the traffic circle. The beach trolley also comes to drop off and pick up here!

This is one of our favorite beach destinations. Clean beaches. Not crowded. Convenient parking. Beautiful shells. Nice facilities. They’re still recovering from hurricane damage, but we enjoyed our visit there as we always do.

It’s a nice stretch of beach with less people than Fort Myers Beach. But FMB is only about a mile south so it was easily walked. Not a good spot for shelling. It looked like the restrooms were out of order but I didn’t check them, they appeared fenced off.

$2 per hour to park and I had to do it online. There didn’t appear to be a kiosk to pay on site. We didn’t have trouble getting a spot when we got there around noon but it was a nightmare when we left. There were cars lined up at the entrance waiting for someone to leave. Two separate strangers approached us asking us if we were going to our car because they wanted to take our spot. I wasn’t comfortable being approached by strangers in a parking lot asking about my car, it seemed sketchy and potentially dangerous, but they were just tourists.

Quiet beach. More parking needed, of course. Restrooms available. Sand rinse off spouts available. Minimal shelling. Refurbished beach from dredging

A nice find. Not crowded. Easy parking, Shells. A lot of restoration is on-going from Hurricane Ira's destruction, so the area is not as pretty right now. But, we enjoyed sitting by the water anyway.
