Our new fav place for breakfast in Cape May, NJ. Family owned - with pride - this cafe serves a very interesting, varied, and delicious menu! Service is with a smile and attentive, prices are reasonable, and the food tastes great! I liked that they accommodated special menu requests. Can’t wait until our next visit!!

I was in yesterday, I loved the environment. I can’t wait to come back in when the patio is open. Rachael was our server, she was great made wonderful recommendations. I ended up getting the vegan blt. Highly recommend. Love the vegan option. Definitely will be back

What a fabulous spot! Super nice staff & cute atmosphere. It was so nice to have some truly vegan options that were absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the veggie rolls. I got the Linda Christine with vegan chicken and vegan cheese. It was hot fresh and flavorful. Absolutely delicious. My partner got the shrimp and grits and said the shrimp were cooked perfectly and it was fabulous. Highly recommend

This place is a great find! The prices are affordable and the food is excellent! Also the portions are good, they don’t skimp the meat and avocado like other places do. This place is legit. Rachel was our server and she was very kind and attentive.

Relaxed spot that is good for bringing kids in high chairs. BYOB which is always good. We enjoyed our meal, we just had to add some salt to give the dishes a little bit more flavor. A lot of crab in the crab cakes, minimal filler

I'm really tempted to give Bella Vida Garden Cafe 5 stars instead of 4, because it is honestly my favorite restaurant I've tried in Cape May.

Is it the fanciest? No. It's not the kind of place you typically see rated five stars. The vibe is more beach diner than fine dining. Service is friendly and quick, diner-style. BUT, if you are looking for:
- A sit down meal
- Super friendly service
- Many healthy options to suit any taste
- Fresh veggies and properly cooked seafood
- Very reasonable prices
- Easy free parking
- Takes reservations
- Outdoor seating options

... YES, Bella Vida Garden Cafe checks every box!

They do tend to over-sauce and over-dress, but that's remedied easily enough. Just ask for dressing on the side. What's much more important is that veggies and proteins aren't overcooked. I can't say that about many of the more expensive restaurants down the shore.

Highly recommended!

PS - Lots of options for vegetarians and pescatarians. The vegetable medley has featured broccoli, asparagus, and mushrooms and can be ordered over pasta or rice & beans.
The beet, arugula, & goat cheese salad with walnuts is big and wonderful, and served with rare tuna is an amazing and hearty meal, especially for the price.

Me and my husband tried this little place for the first time last night and it was amazing! I had the mahi tacos, my husband had Morgan’s medley! Our waitress Julie was so friendly and helpful! We will definitely return and hopefully try breakfast or lunch next time!
