Joining BarreWell has been a life blessing. The entire team is encouraging, motivating, positive, and experts in fitness. The instructors have a passion for people, fitness and wellness. The studio is located on Lake Mission Viejo and is open 7 days a week with an amazing variety of classes. I am grateful to the team for sharing their tips, techniques, modifications and coaching because it had made a positive impact towards my overall health and fitness goals. Plan ahead for your first visit and be sure to arrive 15 minutes early to meet the instructor and get acclimated with the studio, class and set up. They provide everything you need including all the equipment, yoga mats, resistance bands, weights, etc. The also offer amazing childcare for a next door to the studio for a small fee so you can focus on your own excercise classes.

Barrewell was an amazing experience. Everyone in the front was extremely friendly and kind. The woman in the front checked me in and when I stepped into the barre class, the other barre-goers were welcoming and sweet. This was my first time doing barre, so I was nervous. I took Doris’ class and she was phenomenal. She guided me when I got lost a little. LOL She also corrected my form, which I loved! I want to make sure I’m doing it right. So that was extremely helpful! Big suggestion is to come a little early as the classes can get full and you want to make sure you grab a spot on the floor/barre you’re comfortable with. Loved the music, the vibes, and the people. I even purchased items in the front (they have cute hats and clothes) the experience was amazing and I highly suggest taking this class with Doris. I saw she instructs a trampoline class as well, which I did not take LOL, but it looked so fun!

I recently had a disappointing experience here. Despite advertising themselves as a family-friendly facility, they fall short of accommodating mothers. The childcare option is located next door, making it impossible to keep an eye on your child while working out, which is not ideal for many parents.

The instructor, Doris, was particularly unwelcoming. We arrived a few minutes late, and instead of being understanding, she was rude and didn’t offer us the option to join right into the lackluster class. She suggested we do the workout on the floor, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. Her attitude made the whole experience unpleasant, and she didn't make any effort to create a positive or inclusive environment.

Additionally, my friend, who has a newborn, was unable to attend the class and was still charged a late fee. This lack of flexibility and understanding for new mothers is disappointing and does not align with the supportive community they claim to offer.

Overall, I would not recommend them for mothers or anyone looking for a welcoming and accommodating fitness environment.

I tried my first barre class in a studio today and loved it!! The instructor, Kristen, was very personable and friendly and really made me feel comfortable during my first class. I will definitely be back!

Friendly, fun and dynamic studio! I've been attending classes at BarreWell since 2016 and I never get bored. BarreWell offers such a broad spectrum of classes all taught by talented, encouraging and knowledgeable instructors. It's not just barre at BarreWell! The instructors are very hands-on and proactive in offering modifications to accommodate all skill levels in each class. The studio is non-intimidating in nature which to me is extremely important. The owner plays an active roll in every part of the studio and treats everyone like family. I'm beyond thankful that I found BarreWell and have become a part of this community!

My home away from home. I absolutely love love love Barrewell, all of the instructors, the variety of classes, flexible class schedules and awesome lake view!!! I wanted to try something new close to a year ago, and I’ve been hooked ever since. The atmosphere is amazing. The instructors are super motivational. And this is the only place that has ever inspired me to be consistent, keep pushing toward my fitness goals and to make sure I carve out a little time in my schedule to take care of myself. I love it!

I’m so glad I found this studio its WAY better than Pure barre. The teachers are so personable and encouraging, and you definitely get a good sweat. The moves are always different and challenging (in a good way). I try to come to this studio as often as I can 🙂
