Amazing Experience with Torin and Sarah!

Torin at the front desk and Sarah, the supervisor, were absolutely phenomenal. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, offering exceptional service and warm hospitality.

If you're looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, this is it. Relax, recharge, and disconnect from your phone while enjoying life’s simple pleasures. Highly recommended!

We had fun. You are camping, so it’s dusty and there are mice running around at night. But the airstreams are pretty comfortable, the air conditioning works well, the bathrooms are surprisingly roomy, and the bed is comfortable. The airstreams also have a microwave, refrigerator, and plates and utensils. We bought steak and chicken dinner packages - you cook the meat on the grill and warm the sides. Surprisingly good food. And the location is convenient to both the town and Joshua Tree national park. Again, it’s camping, so don’t expect a luxury experience. But it’s comfortable and fun.

We stayed at Joshua Tree Auto Camp from for vacation. In the night of 1/23, we came back around 9:00 PM. And then we headed back to our room. But in the morning of 1/24 at around 9:00 am, we found a Christmas hat on the top of our car seat. And some small items in the car were moved around. I swear it was not us!!!We talked to the lobby manager, but she said we were not allowed to check the cameras. We are so worried about our safety. Thank God we didn’t leave anything valuable in the car. This is really creepy and this is definitely an invasion of our private space, especially at a popular resort like this. Be careful people!!

In short: Pack your own food! Or eat in town.

?The “kitchen” you advertised is misleading. The quality of the food did not justify the high prices. Additionally, having your front desk staff also serve as kitchen staff is concerning and reflects poorly on the operation. While the FOH staff was highly attentive to our meal order, this approach clearly pulls them away from other essential duties, such as checking in guests, preparing drinks, or being available “on the floor.” It was evident that they were spread thin, especially during a busy holiday season.

Considering the amount guests pay per night, the dining experience should reflect a higher standard, including meals that feel luxurious and thoughtfully prepared.

While I understand that dining options in the area may be limited, the food offerings from the “kitchen” at AutoCamp fell far short of expectations, leaving me disappointed.

?But there are a lot of other things AutoCamp gets right. I love the bicycles you can use, the swimming pool, the fire pit, and free hot chocolate. The Airstream suite was clean and so functional! I really appreciate that they provided a cast iron to cook in. The location is close to the JT park so there are many wonderful things going for it outside of my feedback for the food quality.

We have stayed at three AutoCamp locations thus far. All stays have been good, although I would argue that this location wins out as long as you like desert vibes. That means you are okay with the dust, the desert mice (they are cute actually like a pet, not scary like a sewer rat lol!) and the drastic temperature changes. We are okay with all of these so game on!

Kimberly at the front office was kind and at one point returned our lost phone (thank goodness). Check-in was smooth, but I wish they had additional staff to drive our belongings to our unit. As far as layout it’s gorgeous to drive up to this location they really knocked it out of the park with the clubhouse design and the 7-foot door, wow! The property is entirely flat and doesn’t have the outdoor tents. This made bike rides with the kids easy and just down the block there is a community center with a skate park and kids playground and even a ball field. Pretty cool. Sunsets and sunrises are spectacular and minus cloudy nights you’ll see more stars than in Los Angeles which is where we reside. We opted for the premium cabin and I must say it’s quite an upgrade from the Airstreams. Bigger TV, higher ceilings, better temperature controls, and better views due to the large bedroom windows.

We stayed around Thanksgiving which to us is a great time to visit the desert. Your experience may vary if you stay when it’s 118 degrees ?.

Normally i don't give bad reviews unless i felt it's too much. They did a great job on the web design and marketing. Honestly, it's not different experience than ordinary RV camp. Therefore you would expect a better service for 400/night camp. There's Zero service besides check in/out. No water in the room, no UberDoordash delivery allowed within. Extra charge for everything basic. Even the kitchen advertised, the coffee that tastes bland often ran out. 4pm check in 10am check out. I very much regret $$ spent here might as well spent on rosewood as least there's service. See the picture and tell me where's the glam part. For 300/400 night, stay in a room with Walls so you won't be frozen awake at night. They have AC but it's Super loud, like a helicopter hover above your head. This is a 2star tops not a 3star. A justified price for it would be 160-230/night.
Follow up after checked out: was charged $70 for amenities on top of $700 room fee. I only spent two nights by myself. Didn't even use the shower? i don't think i will come here ever again.

This place is amazing! It was our first time glamping, and AutoCamp was the perfect choice. The staff were friendly and quick to assist with any questions. They also have a small store with snacks, drinks, and merchandise, in case you didn’t pack enough food. I still recommend bringing your own supplies to cook, as their menu is somewhat limited, but the options are decent if you don’t feel like cooking. The airstreams were more spacious than I expected, and the bed was incredibly comfortable! Having your own outdoor dining area was a great bonus. Even though I'm not usually an outdoorsy person, this stay made my visit to Joshua Tree much more enjoyable.
