you need local contacts for delivery request. Trying to speak with someone from another country to has no clue what the hell is going on does not work. I told them i believe 3 different times/occasions to call me the day of delivery and told them I had a gait code the they have the code. Got a message saying they attempted delivery and states could not deliver because of closed locked gait. They were to call day of delivery and have the gait code. The day of actual delivery the delivery man did call at the gait and said he couldn't get in because of locked gait. I told him he should have the gait code and he was suppose to call day of delivery. He was nice but clueless. i gave him the gate code and i reviewed a fill up. When I first started with AmeriGas you could call the Mt. Ida office for delivery. That changed no long after I signed up. I had know there would be a call center involved I would have chosen another company. once I get close to needing propane again I am canceling Amerigas and going with a local company where you can request gas from a local individual and talk to someone who is not in some foreign country. I would not recommend AmeriGas to anyone and I have shared this experience and others have said the same thing. plus I have already answered this once. This company has not clue what its doing. I will say the service person was nice on the phone.

Service was very good. However in trying to pay bill on line, you wanted an extra eight dollars. Nowhere was it posted beforehand. Also you have nerve to charge over 80 dollars per year to rent a 49 year old tank. Sun gas the is rising star around here. Unless you really lower tank rental, this will be the last delivery. I will join my neighbors who are using Sun gas and you can send my tank to the Smithsonian.

The delivery drivers and office staff (when you were able to talk to them) are great but the main company is cutting costs and going to a central customer service center overseas. I am 30 minutes from my local office and expect to be able to talk to them to schedule and check on deliveries but no, I'm sent to some guy in India. He tried his best but couldn't even pull up my right account. I will be going with a LOCAL company when I upgrade my tanks. And you can save your automated "I'm sorry" reply you gave to the last guy that complained about poor customer service. It's been 3 months since that review and nothing's changed.

Worse experience I've ever received! I have been waiting on my delivery for almost 2 weeks. Still no propane and they keep telling me soon soon, and about all I've heard is lies. They have been absolutely no help whatsoever if they do not deliver my propane today I am switching propane users

I called because I had 47% in my tank. There was also a promo code for $1.59 per gallon. Once they got here they started saying they need to check my lines because it had been too long. Once they were done I only had 65% in my 500 gallon tank and they price was through the roof. I called but after being transferred a couple of time and each time given the same spill. I decided I will NEVER buy from Amerigas again. I actually purchased my tank from you and my first few orders of oil. BUT NEVER AGAIN WILL I FALL IN YOUR TRAP. My husband said when you check the lines that all of the pilot lights would go off. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN SO THEY NEVER EVEN CHECKED THE LINES BUT I WAS DEFINITELY CHARGES FOR IT. I HOPE YOU GO OUT OF BUSINESS.

I used to love the service from this supplier but since it’s gone to strictly call center, I hate it. I want to speak directly with my local providers not some dimwit that asks all the same questions no matter you call about and not even listen to what the answers are. I’m going to look into a new provider that I can speak to local folks. Truly a mistake not being able to have a choice in speaking with local office. On top of all this, I rent their tank. I have been smelling propane for a while and mentioned it to a delivery person a while back. Well, I had to call and have them do a leak check because it was getting worse. Sure enough their pressure gauge was leaking. They charged me $400 to fix THEIR faulty equipment. Definitely looking into a new provider.

One of the things which I find very frustrating is when I call a local customer service number in Arkansas and someone in an overseas call center answers. In this case it was someone in the Philippines. I spoke with two individuals and they both had strong accents which were sometimes difficult to understand. And they had occasional trouble understanding me. And they were unable to answer a question regarding my bill. For AmeriGas, I want to speak with an American customer service representative, based in America. Otherwise, perhaps the name should be changed to PhilippinesGas.

Amerigas had a summer promotion at $1.82 a gallon and I wanted to top off. Booked online and they arrived in 3 days. Michael was our delivery driver and he was simply outstanding. This is the way to run a business!!!
