If you have been rejected by traditional banks, I highly recommend giving them a shot! AltCap is servicing a niche that is VASTLY underserved. They are great to work with, extremely knowledgeable, and are a safety net for founders that are just below bankable, helping them stay away from MCA (merchant cash advances) that are super tempting in a pinch but are typically 40-50% interest. AltCaps rates are low to mid teen's. A HUGE difference with a multi-year term vs 6 month terms from MCA.

I have a bankruptcy in 2017 and a company that had very thin margins over the past two years, thus traditional financing was harder to obtain. AltCap took into consideration that our last two quarters showed that we were pulling out of the losses, and agreed to help us purchase equipment to help us grow.

Was this process fast? No, it wasn't. If you are in a rush, and looking for the higher end of their loan offerings, it does take awhile. Roughly 45-60 days. But this is way better than the alternatives if you are getting rejections from traditional banks, so go in prepared for that time duration, and you will not be disappointed!
